I look for ways to deliver you the results while keeping you true to yogic path.
I spice my classes with mindfulness exercises, bring you yoga sutras and hindu myths and teach you how you can bring the yogic path to your life for support!
Whenever I want to loose myself in a moment I design a short flow and do it nice and easy, just to repeat it and connect it with my breath. If repetition is a mother of mastery then let's not shy away from it on our mat!
See you next week!
The great leap of the Hanuman.
Every semi regular yoga practitioner had heard the story of the splits pose, the hanumanasana.
Hanuman, the great monkey overcomes his limiting self beliefs and takes this great step across the sea to Lanka (Sri Lanka) to find Sita, the wife of Ram.
What I always thought was odd, is that we know the story of this advance pose, but don't know the story of more achievable asanas, like Garudasana or half moon (ardha Chandrasana).
So discovering the stories behind the poses had always been something of a nerdy side of mine.
Next week I'll share a story, or a meaning of 4 poses: tree pose, warrior 3, Eagle and half moon.
If you know those asanas, you know they all require you to balance on one leg.
As if standing on your own two feet wasn't hard enough, here I'm going to challenge your balance, share my understanding, share my passion of stories with you. See me there, book now via

I swapped excuses for commitment...
Went to the beach today with a friend. We even went for a swim. Diggs joined in, clung onto me for dear life. It was brilliant!
Yet I nearly didn't go! When Sarah proposed a walk on the beach i was thinking what excuses can I come out with. I really had to have a chat with myself! Not enough this woman wants to spend time with me, she actually offers something really fun to do!
So I went, and I loved it!
If you too tend to come out with excuses, vow to yourself not to this weekend! See how it goes! Maybe you will have fun too!
Committed to your development! Here we have a little step by step guidance so the participant can adapt his first ever headstand. Just how I roll: flipping perspectives around the world. I'm quite modest too 😂😂😂
Wanted to start your meditation practice? Here's a little helping hand ✋

HEADPHONES MOMENT:
I used this song a lot in the past, especially last year after my dad passed. It has helped me to pace the breath and lose myself in the moment of mindful breathing. I'd quietly count to 4 (the rhythm is for 6 seconds, making it the optimum breath pace).
Give yourself 7 minutes, sit down quietly and comfortably, close your eyes and breathe!

How's your Chaturanga?
And, more importantly: how are you in chaturanga?
There's a lot going on in it!
Your lats work hard pulling your elbows in, pecks and deltoids slow you down as you lower down from either plank or jump back, rhomboids and trapezius are working hard in their shortened position on stabilising the body through the transition and serratus anterior with pec minor are working in their lengthened position so you don't land on your face.
And that's just the shoulders and back...
Join me this Sunday in person or online to learn your way around this everyday yoga pose and how to stay safe in it for a lifetime of practice!

I cannot tell you how many times I have been confused by chaturanga dandasana... Even the cue to not dip lower than elbows used to be like: 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐈𝐅 𝐈'𝐌 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐎 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐁𝐑𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓?
Join me and let me uncloud some of the mysteries of this pose.
We will target all of the shoulder muscles that work in chaturanga and work them in the way they are asked to perform when in this pose. We will learn how to adapt it to keep our shoulders healthy and why the alignment may differ from person to person!
Whether online or in person you will learn how to stay healthy and safe! Book here
