Darley Dance may have officially closed at the start of this year but we’re proud to hold onto 2 legacy events. The first is our favourite event of the year! The EIHL POFW. THANK YOU for having us back to cheer. 💕💕

When the clock strikes 12 on New years and we wave goodbye to 2023 we will also watch the curtain fall on The Christmas Show with Darley Dance for the final time. It’s so sad that we couldn’t keep going but it’s a time for celebration of everything we’ve done over the past 15 years. And there was a lot!

How many of you have we sung and danced with at Christmas? At shows, at parties, at events even at street performances. And we’ve loved every moment!

This will be a moment I will remember forever.

The pandemic completely changed us and it’s the impact of the pandemic and the world around us changing which has led to us eventually closing. It was a hard year for everyone and some things, people and places have never recovered.

Having said that… it gave me some of the best moments I have ever experienced.

We were stunned when we were allowed to film in Derby Cathedral. It was 9am on a Saturday morning and town was silent! Rules were strict and everywhere was closed. We had the strictest guidelines that we had to stick to but somewhere in the midst of all the chaos there was calm.

When these 3 sang O Holy Night in that amazing space, totally alone with a backing track and a couple of guys from and .greatorex sorting sound the world fell still.

It had been such a long time coming, so much sadness and fear, so much chaos with the crowd funder and trying to organise everything. I remember sitting there and thinking, ‘WOW! At the core of this is 3 very talented singers doing what they do best and I feel privileged to see this.’

A am so sad that the pandemic contributed to the closure of my business but I am eternally grateful for moments like that. 💕🎄

The Christmas Show Online 2021 was such a fun one to produce. There were a lot of laughs and a sense of relief that we were able to film without the same restrictions as the year before.

We’ve had so many lovely Christmases performing in Derbyshire. Before The Christmas Show we spent years in residence performing at Christmas parties both at The County Ground Marquee and later at Pride Park.

We have been so privileged to be part of your Christmas for so many years and this Christmas will be our last.

It's always fun to do Christmas fairs and as usual, Shottle Hall's was amazing. Who would've thought we'd be back there two years later to film our christmas show during Covid.

We spent years at Derbyshire County Cricket Club performing at the T20's as the falconettes. This here is a photo from our first official falconettes debut season.

This was the first performance of a very special show team that was brought together in 2019 for 'The Christmas Show'. Doing this performance, little did we know what was to come in 2020 and just how special this team would become.

2009 was a really exciting year as it was our first full year of performing at events as Darley Dance. This event was an absolute highlight as it was the first time we performed with the amazing .

So many lovely memories working with Children's Holiday Centre. Back in 2016, we performed in the middle of the Intu Derby, helping to spread the word about the wonderful things they do.

This was taken many years ago when we were doing a calendar for Woodlands Dance. Many of the girls attached to these feet came to dance for Darley Dance. They were a fantastic group of dancers!

Woodlands dance inspired me to open Darley Dance. I loved seeing how passionate so many people were about dance but as soon as they hit 18 their training was seemingly for nothing. There was no work unless you wanted to go away! That’s why I so desperately wanted to find and create work here in Derbyshire.

Ballet will always be my favourite as it’s my core training and the one I always loved so much. We’ve had some beautiful ballet moments over the years and I’ll be sharing some of them on this years greatest moments Christmas show.

How many black tie events have we worked over the years? Who knows!

From charity balls and auctions to golf days, corporate dinners and concierge events. Each one in a black dress and a big smile.

We’ve helped make thousands of £s for charity by selling raffle tickets, encouraging bidders and rattling for donations.

We can’t look back at Darley Dance highlights without mentioning the cricket… a lot!

There are many highlights that are linked to cricket but the 2012 Falconette season really stood out for me. We had bright exciting costumes to match the bold blue and pink that the Falcons wore that year, it was a year of sport with the Olympics coming to the UK and we had a great squad to go with it!

I loved our time with and I loved doing the Falconettes!

This was an event we did in 2021 with Poseidon Spas. They turned their hot tub showroom into a mini fright fest and we got the spend the evening emerging from behind green water hot tubs and dancing to thriller!

It was a lot of fun!

I don’t know what we’re so happy about but clearly .croft and I felt it deserved a high five!

It was always fun to join on the Top Floor at and I have so many fun memories from it. But my fave would’ve been when I was with Roseanna.

Roseanna is one of the people who has helped me navigate the complexities of being in business! She is also one of the loveliest people I know and a right laugh.
