It's getting closer to the big day, lots of rushing around getting last minute gifts, festive food etc. Why not take some time to just relax and enjoy some time listening to music and thinking of others and what Christmas is really about.

A butcher, a baker and a craft maker have all joined our merry band of volunteers over the last couple of months. I have enjoyed making some new introductions and hearing about plans for getting out and about together.
We visited the Redmond Centre at Carcroft today for the CASPA Event and found out that there's a lot going on at the centre, from an art group, local history society and singing for pleasure and other things. So if you live in the area go check it out, you might be surprised!

We've been doing some connecting of our own with other professionals from across the borough, spreading the news about the work we do and how we can reduce social isolation together.
We enjoyed our 1st Afternoon Tea at the new Silver Link Centre in June. It was lovely to meet new people as well as an opportunity to catch up with old friends and thank our volunteers. Our legs were aching at the end of the day but we thoroughly enjoyed it! Week
