It’s been brought to our attention that there have been second hand trailer scammers using our good name and long standing reputation to swindle people out of deposits for trailers that don’t exist.

Allways see the trailer in person and only pay once you feel all is what it seems.

We do not deliver trailers, stay safe!

Not your every day trailer hire…

A great opportunity for a full-time job working in a long-established Towbar, Trailer and Leisure industry business. This is a career job, not a fill in or part-time. The work involves among other things the dismantling and reassembly of vehicle trim and bumpers, a good knowledge of 12volt electrics, a good mechanical aptitude. This job includes a varied role of tow-bar fitting, trailer servicing and some basic fabrication. The successful candidates become part of a team, with knowledge shared and training given. The confidence to talk to customers and the energy to complete jobs is paramount, along with the ability to work as a team member.
Full training given and ownership of ones own tools is an advantage. Vehicle coding is necessary therefore basic computing skills are needed.
Good paid holidays, paid bank holidays and pension. The business is customer led, and we are open 5 1/2 days a week, so Saturday mornings are required.
Pay is dependent on skill level and ability to work successfully. We do not require certificates of higher education but vocational training is an advantage as is previous work within our industry and a cheerful attitude to life. Due to the nature of our work ,indoor ,outdoors and manual work you need to be fit and healthy.

Following the recent government consultation, car drivers will be able to tow a trailer without a taking a test 🚗

This change will mean drivers who passed their car test after 1 January 1997 will be able to tow a trailer up to 3,500kg when the law is changed. This will be as soon as possible.

✔️Drivers who passed their car test before 1 January 1997 can already tow without a car and trailer test, so are not affected by this change.

This will allow us to offer more lorry tests 🚛

We still encourage you to have training before towing a trailer to keep you safe.

This is an ongoing job ,a full time career, not a fill in . I can offer long term stability in a job for the right candidate . The work involves Towbar fitting to vehicles old and new, including canbus electrics and coding.. Full trailer servicing and welding and miscellaneous steel fabrication. One needs to have a good temperament with the general public. Training will be freely given to the right person and it is advantageous to own your own tools.

Remember, we close at 12:30 on Saturdays
