On April 11th, Ramsey Crookall was presented with a prestigious City of London Wealth Management Award, ‘Regional Wealth Manager of the Year for Northern England’ for an unprecedented sixth year.

This prominent City of London Wealth Management Award (COLWMA) recognises, promotes, and celebrates the quality of service from Wealth Management companies and individuals.

CEO Joanna Crookall expressed her gratitude for the honour, stating that it is a testament to their team's hard work, dedication, and commitment to providing clients with the best investment services and managing their assets as if they were their own.

The winners were determined by an online public vote between February and March this year. An independent panel of judges oversees the process.

Ramsey Crookall is an independently owned company that does not have ties to fund managers, banks, or third parties. It, therefore, can access a broad universe of investment assets and deliver an impartial investment management service.

Ramsey Crookall had the pleasure of hosting an Afternoon Tea in support of ARTS AID yesterday. The event featured performances from support recipients Annabel King (Piano), Alexandra Slater (Vocal), and Sam Hillsfield (Cello). ARTS AID is a charity organization that provides financial support and assistance to exceptionally talented students in the arts on the Isle of Man.

The exhibition showcased an exquisite selection of artwork from numerous talented local artists, presenting some of the finest art that the island has to offer. For the third consecutive year, the Easter Exhibition celebrated the Isle of Man's UNESCO Biosphere status, and the Villa Marina Arcade, with its elegant and stylish art-deco architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for the collection, making it once again a truly exceptional and unforgettable event.

Today, Ramsey Crookall's staff took part in the annual Isle of Man Bank Santa Dash, and we are proud to announce once again that our colleague Rory Dearden won the race for the second year in a row. He set a new personal record with a winning time of 4 minutes and 36 seconds, beating last year's. Congratulations to Rory on his impressive achievement!

Today, we showed our support for the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group by turning our office pink and raising a fantastic £600. This charity makes a significant impact on many lives on the Isle of Man, and we at Ramsey Crookall are delighted to be able to support them.

This past weekend Ramsey Crookall had the privilege of partnering with the Triskelion Polo Club to host the Islands' first-ever invitational polo tournament, The Viking Cup. We are proud to say that it was a resounding success, and we would like to say a big thank you to all the visiting teams from Shrewsbury Polo Club & Offchurch Bury Polo Club for making the journey, and we look forward to seeing them again at next year's event.

Ramsey Crookall would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our colleagues Lorna Gleave on her fantastic achievement in claiming the title Ladies Winner of the 2023 Manx Telecom Parish Walk in a time of 17 hours, 27 minutes and Rebekah Noon, who reached Ballaugh Church in a time of 11 hours, 5 minutes walking to raise funds for the Charity Motiv8 and raising £2,200 in the process.

Today we had the privilege of meeting and congratulating former UK Army Captain Adam Diver on his outstanding achievement of becoming the first person in history to complete a 32 miles swim from the UK to the Isle of Man. At 8 am on Monday this week, he set off from the village of St Bees in Cumbria, arriving at Port Mooar Bay at 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon. Besides being the first person to complete this challenge successfully, Diver's additional goal was to bring awareness to mental health, and it has raised an incredible £13 000 and counting for the charity Healthier Heroes CIC. On Sunday, the 21st of May, we hosted our private annual Polo in the Park event at the beautiful Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate in Ballaugh. The event was attended by the Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer and the Chief Minister Hon Alfred Cannan MHK, in addition to over 550 guests, with many lovely classic cars completing the stunning setting. Two teams from the Triskelion Polo Club competed, the first representing Ramsey Crookall and the second representing Complete Plumbing Solutions, with Complete Plumbing Solutions taking victory on the day. We thank all our guests who attended this year's event, making it another memorable one.
