Michael (Mike) graduated from the University of Dundee in 2009 and has worked at KW since 2017. He has completed postgraduate training in Invisalign and advanced restorative dentistry with award-winning cosmetic dentists Tariq Bashir and Jason Smithson. He now focuses primarily on private and cosmetic dentistry.

Mike is very friendly and easy to get on with. Outside of work he is a keen cycler and regularly competes in the Etape Loch Ness and Etape Caledonia. When he isn’t cycling, he can be found on the golf course, climbing munros or spending time with Hannah and Drax.

Meet Susan! 👋🏻 the newest addition to the KW team who will be starting with us next week!

Susan is a dental hygienist with nearly 20 years experience providing hygiene care to dental patients. She has worked in several practices throughout Dundee and Angus over the years and also teaches and tutors dental hygiene students at Dundee Dental Hospital.

So it’s safe to say she will be bringing a huge amount of knowledge and experience to our patients! Susan will be working at the practice every Tuesday and Wednesday from 27th August.

Hannah graduated from the University of Dundee in 2011 and practiced dentistry until 2020, when she decided to pursue her passion of all things skin and facial aesthetics. She has completed a postgraduate degree in Skin Ageing & Aesthetic Medicine with the University of Manchester AND a Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectables. She is also a trainer/tutor for aesthetics training company: Inspired Cosmetic Training.

We had the pleasure of meeting this lovely little man today for his first ever check-up appointment🦷🌟

He did an amazing job and was delighted with his sticker and new toothbrush and toothpaste🪥

* Toothpaste containing fluoride is advised 2x daily for 2 minutes where possible. Fluoride prevents the acid from breaking down the enamel. It also helps teeth damaged by acids to repair themselves

Transformation Tuesday

This patient required fillings on both lower molars due to decay.

We cleaned out and replaced the old decayed amalgam filling that had been present for 10+ years and cleaned out the back molar, filling both with lovely composite fillings.

What a difference!
