Right boys we have been offered a match against the 4s pencilled in for this coming Saturday(11th) with no set time as of. Looking to get a strong team with good numbers to allow a good performance with a win as the aim. Everyone is welcome just comment under this post to be added into the group chat.

Right lads, have had a message of the Captain of one of the other uni teams,

‘We are wondering if you have would be keen to join and enter a 7 a side team again this year. There will be 12 teams in total, two groups of 6. £5 per person ideally (just like soccerworld) - will be a group stage then onto a knockout semi final and final. Prizes for the winning team.

Want to get as many boys down as possible so we can raise a decent amount of money for a good cause so if you would be interested that would be great.’

Sunday league played in the this tournament last year and put in a good shift (even beating the twos) so this is a chance for all players new and already playing to come down and have some fun for a good cause. So if any interested could like this post that would be great and more info to follow.

We are going to resume training and matches in the coming weeks. If you’re a Dundee Uni student and you want to get stuck into two footed challenges, 36 stone centre backs, and some of the most well kept pitches in Scotland - give this page a message and let us know that you’re keen to sign up!

We have weekly training, matches, and (more importantly) socials, for all footballing abilities. We also have an annual awards night and various themed socials.

We have two teams and will be playing in a league with other local teams, as well as a couple of cup tournemants.

-AGM 2021-

The 2021 Annual general meeting will be held on Tuesday the 2nd of March at 5:30pm on teams, here you can cast your vote or run for committee positions. To vote or run for a position you must be a paid member of the society. The AGM is a crucial event to the club, we require as many paid members to attend as possible since it is your chance to have a say on the running of the club next year.

If you want to run for a position you will need to give a speech at the AGM to inform everyone of your plans for the role, please message Fraser or Josh if you plan on running so you can be added to the list of candidates.

At the AGM all committee positions will be up for election, these positions are as follows:

President
Responsibilities – Oversee the general running of the club organise and attend meetings.
Eligibility – Must be a current committee member and a student at Dundee University.

Vice President
Responsibilities – Support president in the general running of the club organise and attend meetings.
Eligibility – Must be a student at Dundee University.

Treasurer
Responsibilities –Monitor the club finances and handle funding applications.
Eligibility – Must be a student at Dundee University.

Secretary
Responsibilities – Communications from the club and for minute taking in meetings.
Eligibility – Must be a student at Dundee University.

Kit and Equipment Coordinator
Responsibilities – Ordering new equipment when necessary and taking inventory of current equipment.
Eligibility – Must be a student at Dundee University.

Senior Social Secretary
Responsibilities – Organisation of social events such as weekly socials or award ceremonies.
Eligibility – Must be a student at Dundee University.

Junior Social Secretary
Responsibilities –Maintaining a good social media presence for the club.
Eligibility – Must be a student at Dundee University.

Details of the teams meeting will be posted closer to the event, the deadline for nominating yourself for a role is the 1st of March.

We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the support over the past few months. This year has been an unusual one by any standard and has thrown up many challenges for one and all, yet every single one of our members has gone from strength to strength and continued to amaze us in their participation and development!

Regardless of whether you celebrate Christmas, we just wanted to wish everyone a happy and relaxing festive period and an even better New Year! We also understand that not everyone is able to be at home with their loved ones this year, as such our DM’s are open all day for anyone wanting to have a chat for whatever reason!
