It is time every born again Christian realize that the purpose of Christianity is not to teach us believers how to avoid or eliminate difficulty but to nature within us the strength of character necessary to offset difficulty when it comes .Christianity does not make life easy ,rather it provides the strength needed to face and overcome the trials of life .

Isaiah 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as S***m, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

That which is true of the promises of God is equally true of the purposes of God. We might say that God does nothing without prayer. His most gracious purposes are conditioned on prayer. His marvelous promises in Ezekiel 36 are subject to this qualification and condition: "Thus saith the Lord God: I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them." In the second Psalm the purposes of God to His enthroned Christ are decreed on prayer, as has been previously quoted. That decree which promises to Him the heathen for His inheritance relies on prayer for its fulfillment: "Ask of me." We see how sadly the decree has failed in its operation, not because of the weakness of God's purpose, but by the weakness of man's praying. It takes God's mighty decree and man's mighty praying to bring to pass these glorious results.

Promise is like the unsown seed ,the germ of life in it , but the soil and culture of prayer are necessary to germinate and culture the seed .

Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Satan dreads nothing but prayer. . . . The Church that lost its Christ was full of good works. Activities are multiplied that meditation may be ousted, and organizations are increased that prayer may have no chance. Souls may be lost in good works, as surely as in evil ways. The one concern of the devil is to keep the saints from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayer-less work, prayer-less religion.
