This Sunday we’re looking at Daniel 1 in the morning as we see how to live in a foreign land.

In the evening we will have our harvest service in the Foster Hall, with a guest speaker, Rev. Alan Marsh. You’d be more than welcome!

Huge thank you to Stephen Moore from Union Theological College, Belfast speaking on how we can trust the Old Testament. It was a hugely encouraging night, and great to see a full house!

Some of our Ladies headed down to Belfast on Saturday for the Irish Women’s Convention where women gathered from across the country to worship and hear Bible teaching! They’ve a few events across the year so why not come down to the next one!

On Saturday we’d our Men’s Breakfast, and we heard from Tagle who is a minister in East Belfast, and how God has been graciously working in his life. Keep your eyes peeled for more men’s events in the future!

Who doesn’t love a good breakfast!! Come along this Saturday at 9:30 in Newmills and get yourself a bite to eat as we hear from Rev. Tagle who is minister Mountpottinger Presbyterian. He’ll be sharing his story of how he went from being in the Cuban Army to being a minister. It’s not to be missed!!

Why does the Old Testament tell you not to eat shellfish, bacon, or wear clothes of mixed materials? Why do Christian’s seem to ignore these rules? What is the craic with so much of the Bible having strange rules, like not boiling a goat in its mothers milk? Come along this Sunday as we explore these questions!

Next Sunday we’ll have our first event of the year!! Meet Matthew who is our speaker. Matthew is assistant minister in Sloan Street in Lisburn and is married to Laura, with 1 daughter and 1 on the way!

Infamously Belfast’s 9th most attractive man in 2010, come along and hear Matthew speak to us on who God made us to be! We’d love to have you there!

TOMORROW NIGHT we’ll be starting our new midweek series ‘God’s big picture’ that ties in with our morning services. We’ll be meeting at 7:30 for Bible study and prayer as we see how the Bible fits together for ourselves.

If you struggle to read the Bible for yourself come along as we learn how to read it as one big story together.

As Lamplighters finished up on Sunday night, they had a very special guest, MILO!

Thanks to the leaders for putting in so much work over the year, and to the boys and girls for coming throughout the year. They've been learning all about the attributes of God this year, and we pray they know and grow more with God over the summer.

🐋Jonah: The Reluctant Prophet 🐋

Do we try to run from God? Do we think we can put it off to another day? Jonah is a prophet who was just like us, but his story speaks of how God’s grace conquered even that.

Come along this Sunday as we look at his story!
