Voting for the Committee elections is now open! You can vote to decide the members of JCR, Finance, Social and Steering Committees. To vote, this link and login using DUO: https://apps.dur.ac.uk/vote/trevelyan/committee-elections-2020-2021

Voting closes on Monday 26th October at 12:00 Midday, we will announce the successful candidates later that day via email.

Voting works using a Single Transferable Vote. The voting system is also explained on the site (here: : https://apps.dur.ac.uk/vote/trevelyan/docs/stv). It’s quite simple, you rank the candidates in order of preference. Re-open Nominations (aka RON) is an option for when you don’t believe any of the candidates would be suitable for the role. For committee elections, multiple winners are selected. Nominations for any unfilled roles, including Welfare Awareness Committee, will reopen again soon!

Hello everyone, we have some exciting JCR news. Committee election nominations are now open! If you want to run for a position on any of them then please email the attached form to me by Sunday the 18th October at 5pm.

Hi everyone. Here's something a little different! Rich, Benn, Simon, Nat and Andy are all Trevs alumni from 1998-2002. Whilst at college they had a little rock band going, called "Mint". They played gigs all over Durham and especially at Trevs Unplugged, bops and balls, sports dinners, and at Mildert Jam Night. Although the original band broke up in 2002, three of them played together for several years following, and they have now got back together online to bring you this music video. The song is a cover of a Paul Weller track, "Out Of The Sinking". It is one of the first songs they played together as a band. Their album "Leaving It Late" is still available to download for free from Bandcamp or Soundcloud - just search for "themintrockband". They are a great reminder of how Trevs students and alumni rock harder than any other college!

Earlier this week Maria from our Fundraising Team called at Trevelyan College, Durham University, to be presented with a thumping donation of £3019.03 to the Foundation!

Here's Maria with Louise and Saska from their Charity Committee for the obligatory big cheque moment. We never tire of these :) Not too sure how we'll get this in one of those awkward self service Cash and Deposit Machines but we'll give it our best shot.
