We have had a great night tonight at Infinite Air with our trampoline park Halloween party! Thanks to all their staff for all their help with the event.

Some great efforts with the team’s fancy dress.

The committee have chosen our winners to be the u13 Lionesses as our winners who all came as minions and Gru. Really creative!

£250 Avec Sport voucher to the team to spend on club gear.

Special mention to U7 leopards coach Jamie who I think certainly won the coaches award!

⚽Meet our new Committee Member - 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻

Here is what she had to say about herself.

My name is Vics. Alongside, Andy Lee and Nick Johnson-Storey, I coach the u12 Leopards and Lionesses. My daughter has been part of the team since it was set up in 2020 at u7. Before that, she attended the Wildcats sessions. I started helping out the coach at the time in 2021 and have been involved ever since - I absolutely love it.

I have completed my Introduction to Coaching Football course and have been working with an FA Coach Mentor since November 2022 to support my development as a coach. I am part of the Durham FA Female Coach Development Network and attend regular FA development sessions as part of this.

Outside of football, I work in Children’s safeguarding and therefore have a particular interest in making sure that our players, coaches, and parents are safe and happy at the club.

Great effort last night in the Durham Challenge Cup v’s Consett AFC (Step 4)…good experience and a challenge to step up for our young team.

Thanks to our 1st Team players for being such good fun and inspiration to our Under 11’s.

Good luck to Consett AFC for season 24/25 and thank you being good opponents.

playing 11-a-side for the first time this season.

The team is a mix of girls who have been with the team since it formed and new players who have just started playing. The girls have built strong friendships through playing together, which help them cope with the challenges football brings (i.e. early morning trips to Darlington) and achieve some great successes (i.e. winning a tournament last Summer). The team is a positive environment for the girls to enjoy their football, keep active, and be good team mates.

Durham United FC Under 15 Pumas

Pictured here proudly wearing their kit sponsored by Alishaan, thanks Jay!, our u15 Pumas are celebrating being back at Fyndoune in fine style, having played all three of their opening fixtures at our traditional home ground and winning all three. Two of the Pumas have been with the team since it formed at u8, many of the others have been with Durham United for ever and other friends have been brought to training over the years and decided to join our happy group. We play together to have fun - but it's also lovely to have won our first three games.
