Experience the ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation at the upcoming Yoga Wellness Day at South Causey Inn! Picture this: a blissful day filled with invigorating Pilates, soothing Yoga, and tranquil mindfulness meditation. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink to kick off your day of wellness. Immerse yourself in the invigorating Pilates session to feel the burn, followed by a blissful yoga practice designed to stretch and relax your body and mind.
You will also get the chance to indulge in a delightful traditional afternoon tea complete with free-flowing herbal teas or coffees, the perfect way to nourish your body and soul.

Remember to come dressed for Pilates and yoga, and don't forget to bring your own mat (although a limited number will be available) and a water bottle. For ultimate relaxation, bring a cosy blanket to wrap yourself in during our stretch and relax practice. Finish off your day with a leisurely stroll around the stunning surroundings of South Causey Inn. With parking available on site, all you need to do is treat yourself to a day of pure indulgence and relaxation. 🧘

There’s nothing like yoga on the beach, for me personally it’s my favorite place to reconnect with myself and nature.
Where’s your favourite place to practice?
Practicing yoga throughout different stages of my life has allowed me to explore the range of benefits that come from regular practice.
During the pandemic it was a total escape and form of wellbeing, it’s still that but so much more - it’s a contrast to my fast paced lifestyle, it’s a form of stretching following a run, it’s a form of creation, it’s a way of building strength, it’s a lifestyle. It’s me.

We went along to a SEND friendly yoga session today with 88andyoga and The SEN Support Space 🧘♂️
It was such a fun yet calming class. Would totally recommend checking out 88 and Yoga - she’s so lovely! Also couldn’t recommend The SEN Support Space enough as they run such an amazing variety of activities for SEN families! 👏🏻

Research states that by practicing asanas for a certain period of time, whilst feeling “alert and unstressed” it allows both qualities to be present (Desikachar, 1995). Further expectations when holding asanas for longer include: time for alignment - allowing time to adjust and re-adjust the pose, opportunity for emotions and time to stabilise the mind and body.
