Hitting a session on a Monday helps kickstart good habits. Nutrition, hydration, sleep, mindset, productivity all become much easier.

Sunday- Rest day or training day?
For many members Sunday is a ‘Rest day.’ Although, we still have several who get stuck into the class programming at 9am or 10am.

Every class here at CrossFit Jacana starts with a detailed board brief about the workout ahead. During the brief coaches will:
•Explain the workout of the day (WOD)
•Establish any injuries or limitations from class attendees
•Discuss suitable scaling options based on individual ability
•Explain the intended workout stimulus and possible strategies
•Make sure everyone understands the workout ahead

Handstand push ups = lots of fun! However, not all our members can perform them so we have several scaling options such as:
Push up/kneeling push up
Pike push up
Box pike push up
Dumbbell press
A suitable scaling option is given based on current ability.
If you would like to learn how to perform new gymnastics skills then drop us a message.
Burpees….we learn to love them.
Tackling weaknesses head on we soon make them our strengths.
