We provide care and support that empowers people affected by sight loss, and their families & carers
September is Dementia Awareness Month.
Unfortunately many people who have dementia also experience sight loss leading to greater confusion, social isolation and increase the risk of falling.

August is Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month. In the UK, inherited retinal dystrophies such as retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and Stargardt disease are the most common cause of blindness in children. Regular eye tests are critical to identifying eye conditions early and preventing further damage.
A reminder that our Peer Support Group for people with Visual Impairments or Sight Loss returns 16 August at The Knightswood Library from 11am-1pm.
