Exciting things happening this week as work begins on this dreamy, neutral kitchen project! 🤍

Our client wanted a boho-inspired vibe, so we paired wood shaker fronts with a stunning white quartz countertop with delicate gold veining and added off-white gloss zellige tiles for texture. The shiplap panelling and open wood shelving bring warmth and character, while the central island makes this space perfect for gathering and dining.

We can’t wait to watch this vision come to life! ✨ Stay tuned for updates!

For those of you that have been following along on stories, you’ll know that our boy Harris had a tough week 💔

Thank you so much to everyone who sent him all the good vibes while he was in hospital - it worked! He’s finally back home, doing much better, though he’s lost vision in his left eye and has to put up with the cone of shame until he’s fully healed. He’s on quite the cocktail of meds (lovingly disguised as “chicken sashimi” 😅) and we’re hoping he is back to his usual self soon, even with slightly less sight.

Give your fur babies an extra big squeeze today. Seeing him in pain was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through, and I’m wishing all the health and happiness to pets everywhere!!

Though I couldn’t enjoy a whisky cocktail (had to drive home!), I really loved hearing the story of Finn Juhl and watching a Pelican Chair be upholstered before our very eyes!

Oops! We unintentionally took a little break from Instagram - can you believe it’s been a month?!

The last four weeks have been a whirlwind here at Studio Heim HQ, with a mix of busy design projects and some personal life challenges. Finding the time to post just seemed impossible.

Unfortunately, we had quite a few vet visits in that time, which broke my heart (and my bank balance 😅) but don’t worry - Harris & Homey are both doing fine now - thank goodness!

Life can get hectic, but we’re back and excited to share some of the amazing projects we’ve been working on recently. We’ve also had a lovely influx of new followers (hello! 👋🏼) so keep an eye out for some “meet the team” posts soon. You’ll get to see the faces behind Studio Heim 😊

It’s a rainy day here in Scotland, but that’s not stopping us from getting creative here at Studio Heim!

Even on grey days, we’re ready to tackle new designs and keep things moving. We’re diving headfirst into a bathroom design, getting the final details done on an open plan kitchen / dining room, and then onto some layout exploration!

Happy Monday, everyone! 🌟

How was your weekend? I finally tackled a task that’s been on my to-do list for *far* too long - reorganising the kitchen and bathroom cupboards. It’s something I’ve been putting off for, well... let’s just say close to a year! 😅 When we first moved in, it was a scramble to unpack and just get things *somewhere*, and life has been such a whirlwind since. But now that it’s all sorted, it feels AMAZING!

It’s a grey, drizzly morning here in Scotland - ideal for cosying up in an oversized jumper and diving into some exciting design projects.

✨🎉 Three Years of Studio Heim! 🎉✨

Three incredible years of designing spaces that truly feel like home! It’s been a journey full of growth, creativity, and so many memorable moments.

Personally, the last three years have been just as full – from buying and fully renovating our own home, getting engaged, married, and welcoming another fur baby into our family 🐾.

As for Studio Heim, wow... what a ride! From exciting project after exciting project, to growing our team into the fabulous trio we are now. In 2023, the wonderful Céline joined as our design assistant, and let me tell you, she *crushes it* every single day! 2024 welcomed the amazing Rachael to our team, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see how much Studio Heim has evolved. If someone had told me this is what Studio Heim would like when I first started out, I might not have believed them!

A huge thank you to all of our incredible clients for trusting us with your spaces and constantly bringing us new challenges that inspire us to push boundaries. We wouldn’t be here without you!

Here’s to the next year of growth, creativity, and even more stunning designs. Can’t wait to see what’s next for Studio Heim! ✨

✨We’re back!!! ✨

After a whirlwind week in Italy celebrating my first wedding anniversary, I’m finally back and raring to go! 🌍💍

The trip was not exactly the relaxing escape we imagined… Accommodation issues, thunderstorms 🌩️, a very sick puppy (who had to spend a night at the vet 😢🐾), and a 5-hour flight delay! But despite the chaos, I am so grateful to be back in the studio, feeling refreshed and ready for some exciting projects!

Yesterday was all about settling back into the swing of things, and today we’re hitting the ground running with:
• Two discovery calls with potential new clients 💻
• A design presentation we’re thrilled to share 🎨
• A chat with our marketing team 💡
• And a super exciting conversation with someone who could help streamline things at Studio Heim! 🛠️

Can’t quite get my head around the fact that we are at the last day of August! The month absolutely flew by!

We’ve been so busy here at Studio Heim, with lots of time spent in the studio creating beautiful designs for our wonderful clients.

As I write this post I’m in South London, visiting my fabulous friends and two days into my much-needed holiday - soon to fly to Italy to celebrate my first wedding anniversary!

Here is my August roundup: little snippets of my highlights this month and life behind the scenes at Studio Heim from my camera roll.

1-4 - Playing around with lots of samples to start building designs for our clients

5 - Watching the Olympics in awe whilst sat on the sofa getting lots of puppy cuddles!

6 - It was Christmas at Studio Heim with a photoshoot with . Believe it or not, it’s not the first time I’ve put up a Christmas tree in Summer 😂

7 - Date night at .scot - absolutely beautiful food and delicious too. Would highly recommend!

8 - Finally getting some photos of our beautiful master bedroom project - soon to be featured in print 👀

9-11 - Honey taking over the studio at every given opportunity 🐾 for such a sweet girl, she is also a menace!

12 - Our reel showing our design program went live and has become a fantastic tool to show new clients what they’ll receive when working with us!

13 - The simple pleasure of taking the dogs to the beach - they absolutely adore it and that makes me smile. The clean up after does not 😂

14 - EDI-LDN - Where I’ve been catching up with some of my oldest and dearest friends and enjoying the slightly warmer weather!

Happy bank holiday!!

I’m working from the kitchen island today for a bit of a change of scenery and immediate access to cups of tea, which I’m essentially chain drinking today 😂

I’m just getting some bits ironed out for multiple clients today, before I head off on holiday to celebrate my first wedding anniversary! Really looking forward to the break and hopefully, with any luck, some proper heat and sunshine. Then I’ll be hoping to relax a little this afternoon with the dogs and husband 🤍

Calm, serene, peaceful.. could there be a more perfect place for a restful night’s sleep?

This master bedroom is one of our absolute favourite designs to date. The lime wash walls bring a stunning, cloud-like texture that sets the tone for tranquility, while soft neutrals and rich textures elevate the space into a true sanctuary.

Hands up if you’re ready to dive into this dreamy bed ASAP!! 🛏️✨
