We're delighted to have been recognised by The Aberdeen Society of Architects (ASA) Design Awards 2024 for our work on the Piper Sandler office renovation project!

This commendation is a testament to our team's expertise in architectural design and dedication to creating dynamic work environments. By modernising the 15,800 sq. ft. Grade B office building, we helped nurture the strong team culture and flexibility by incorporating spaces that supported both working groups and sociable downtime. Every aspect of the project was carefully crafted to allow collaboration and reflect Piper Sandler's global identity.

When Piper Sandler reinvested in their existing 1855 tenement building, they sought to create a relaxed culture within the working environment. This resulted in an exciting design including spaces that could support both working groups and sociable downtime.

For this Design & Build project, our Aberdeen team provided interior design, architecture, fit-out, and FF&E services to achieve a new professional client-facing space on the ground floor complete with dynamic meeting rooms, and a cohesive and focused office space that supports a modern working environment for a vibrant team.

A huge congratulations to last night’s Scottish Property Awards winners, we were delighted to present the Development of the Year (Public Buildings) award to Faithful+Gould / Multiplex for the Mazumdar-Shaw Advanced Research Centre, Glasgow.

Well done on a fantastic project, the SPACE Move & Change Management team was proud to be involved with coordinating the merger of the University of Glasgow's 15 research facilities into the new ARC building early last year.

How have workspaces changed in the last 25 years?

In 2022 we celebrated 25 years in business, causing us to reflect on how workspace design, build, and management have changed over the years. As CRT monitors have evolved into flatscreens, so too have organisational hierarchies been flattened. The challenge our teams constantly face is to spot trends and future-proof spaces for our clients.

We’re fortunate to have worked with some amazing clients, designing transformational spaces. Our hope is that we continue to do so.

25 Years of Space Solutions To celebrate 25 years in business in 2022, we reflected on 25 of our favourite projects. Space Solutions are experts in workplace design.

On the 25th November, we celebrated our 25 year anniversary with a night of dinner, dancing, and fellowship. We'd like to extend a warm thanks to everyone who came along and helped us to celebrate in style!

The night was not just for revelry; we also raised over £2,000 towards promoting the physical and mental wellbeing of those
affected by cancer through our charity partner, Cancer Support Scotland. That's the equivalent of 54 group counselling sessions which will allow over 320 people to receive much needed support. Thank you to all who donated, and to Rob Murray from Cancer Support Scotland for joining us on the night.
