Times of change and transition.
In July, we may be presented with opportunities for a change of circumstances, situations or relationships. With change comes transition and transformation and times of transition can sometimes be difficult.
We get caught between what we know, what is comfortable and are sometimes thrust into the new. Things which have been in our lives don't seem to give us as much joy, passion or satisfaction as they used to. Sometimes we understand why and sometimes it's unclear as to why there is change. Sometimes it's our choice, sometimes we feel it's being forced upon us.
Wouldn't it be a lot easier if we could see change in a positive light? To understand that when we find ourselves in this position that it ultimately is for our benefit. That if we embrace this change it will enrichen our lives and create wonderful new experiences.
This Month's focus session helps with this. Helps to understand why this change is happening, to find the positive path within it and to allow a flow with more ease from the old into the new.

Communication and our words.
This month there’s a focus on communication. The words we speak now are being heard even more clearly than usual. When we speak, type, write, or use our body language, our intentions are being put out there into the world. Are you truly and honestly communicating what you want to or wish to?
Think about the stillness and quietness that comes when he ground is covered in deep snow. How the sound seems to intensify. How clear it is. Each step is clearly heard and sound seems to carry further than usual. Just as each step leaves a mark, so do our words.
Are your words considered or reactive? Are you allowing your words to be soft and gentle like snowfall or are you potentially creating an avalanche?
This month, the first focus session I’m offering is based around communication. We’ll look at why you maybe feel you are not able to express yourself freely or clearly. Why you may feel like you’re not being heard by others or taken seriously. If you feel you may be constantly misunderstood. We’ll take steps to understand what’s truly going on so that you feel heard, understood and valued for what you have to say and how you feel.

Now and then I feel the need to touch on the emotion of stress, whether it’s because of what I’m feeling or what I’m picking up from others around me.
There are the obvious stress signs such as high anxiety, feeling irritable a lot of the time and poor sleep. There are however other signs you might not connect with being stressed such as a constant upset stomach, snapping at those around and reacting rather than responding with care. A feeling of being overwhelmed by things that you would normally take in your stride. A lack of interest in anything, feeling more emotional than what would be your usual or maybe finding that your conversations with others seem to be centred around negative points and outlooks.
If you’re feeling any of these things, allow yourself to take some time out. Have a change of scenery, even if it’s just for a few hours. When you come back, your mind will be clearer and easier to focus. Also, ask for help if you need it. Ask for more time to complete something. Ask for the space you need to gather your thoughts.

Dissatisfaction and distraction!
In April, the global energy may have been drawing your attention to focus on what you are dissatisfied with in your daily life. Have you been left feeling distracted and finding yourself looking at others wishing you had what they have?
Have you been feeling a lack of something in your own life? If so then I urge you to take some time to contemplate why you’re being shown this. Is it to show you that something in your life needs to change or is it in fact to draw your attention to recognise all the wonderfulness that is actually in your life already? Have you been taking it all for granted, all the wonderful people and things that you already have?
All of this can be connected to relationships, money, life experiences, opportunities, time, freedom, career or whatever comes to mind while you read this.
If you find that it that something needs to change and perhaps you’re feeling a lack of something I’m offering 2 different options this month.
1. A session where we look at identifying what it is that you are dissatisfied with and how you can move beyond feeling this way or living this way. This session is £70 and takes around 1 hour.
2. My wellness package titled “I wish I had more of something in my life”. This is a course where over 5 weeks we look at all aspects of why you feel this way, how you can change this and also identify the things you don’t need to change, rather change how you look at them.

This month’s focus ….
Change and choice.
The global energy that’s coming our way this month is around choices and alternative paths. We’re being offered change and new options in life so let’s grab it with both hands and run with it.
Do you flow into new choices and life paths with ease, grace and joy or do you find it’s often met with some resistance? Does it actually feel uncomfortable and challenging to be met with the possibility of change?
Wouldn’t it be amazing to embrace these life changes with happiness, joy, fun, creativity, playfulness and open-mindedness?
With this in mind, I’m offering another focus session for the month of March aimed at addressing all of this. Why we may find change so challenging, how to see the new opportunities being offered to us, how to open up to change and how to ease into new life paths.

Spring clean Energy detox!
This month (in the Northern Hemisphere) we begin to move into spring. In fact, the official start to spring is the 20th of March. We’re beginning to make more plans and get outside more. Our schedules change, what we wear changes and for some, we may feel the need to clear out the old to make way for the new. There’s all the usual ways to do this like clearing out cupboards, wardrobes, paperwork but had you thought about an energy detox?
Our energy can get cluttered and a bit congested with the old too. Sometimes it needs a good clear out and refresh. Think about how that might feel for a moment. More space to breath, being able to think and see through choices and decisions more clearly without the past getting in the way. Perhaps an actual boost of energy since we’re no longer wasting our energy on the clutter that’s been hanging around.
This month I’m offering an energetic detox session. We’ll look at releasing attachments to past situations, people, trauma or experiences that are ready to go. Clear, balance and align your chakras (focused energy points in the body). Perhaps look at what you’re ready to move on from in your life and what you’re ready to move into.
This session will be online for around 1 hour and is an investment of £70.

Random Acts of Kindness…
Tomorrow, 17th February is Random Acts of Kindness day.
As you move through your day tomorrow, perhaps keep that in mind. As you interact with the world around you, what small or large acts of kindness can you bring into the world? Perhaps a smile for someone who looks like they need a little happiness to pass their way. Perhaps holding a door open for someone. Perhaps hearing the self-critical words you say to yourself and instead, paying yourself a compliment.
This month’s focus…
Boundaries, respect and honour.
Are you feeling like people aren’t respecting your boundaries? Are you feeling like people are possibly taking advantage of you or that you have to defend yourself and ready yourself for battle?
What do I mean by the term ‘boundaries’? It’s about how you allow others to treat you. It’s about feeling there’s a healthy balance to how much you give and how much you receive. Having others treat you with respect and by knowing that you are worthy of being treated with respect and with honour.
When others overstep our boundaries, we can feel threatened, perhaps like we’re under attack and may react in a way we wouldn’t normally. This can also fall into the realm of what you feel your self-worth to be. How worthy you see yourself to be and not wanting to disappoint others.
Know that we are all worthy and deserving of being treated with respect and honour whether that’s by ourselves or by others. The more we believe and recognise this, the more we will treat ourselves in this way and the more others will be automatically be aware of and respect our boundaries.
This month I’ll be offering a special ThetaHealing® session focused on helping us understand our true value, on setting healthy boundaries with others and help us to remember, see and recognise all the wonderful things we can experience when we have a clearer outlook on these aspects.

New stuff!
For this coming year of 2022, I’ve decided to offer various types of focus sessions each month as well as my existing therapy sessions to shine a light on the general energy of the world around us for each month and help us navigate the obstacles which may come into our lives.
By doing this it can help us understand why we may be feeling the way we are, why we may be reacting the way we are and helping to restore ease and flow back into our daily lives.

As you move into the beginning of a new year you may find yourself tidying up those loose ends of the year you’ve just lived.
By doing this, you’re psychologically preparing yourself for what’s to come, for all the new that’s ready to come in, to be experienced and lived.
As you do this, you move into a new phase in life. You discover yourself as who you are becoming or rediscover those things you’d forgotten.

Make a change!
We change all the time. We grow, we develop, we evolve.
Sometimes seamlessly. Sometimes with a bit of resistance or reluctance.
Sometimes we know there’s a need for change but it can feel like a big step we’re not sure we want to take.
If we ignore that feeling though, it will continue to linger. It’s in the back of your mind every day. It’s there as we go through the same daily routines that become less and less exciting, less enjoyable, fill you with less and less joy.
From time to time, we may benefit from re-visiting who we are and what we want out of life, what we want to experience. The things we put into place in perhaps our 20s may well not be the right fit for us in our 30s, 40s or 50s.
As we move through the seasons of our lives, as we discover more about ourselves, what would we like to change? What would make us happy now?
- How we want to live.
- Where we want to live.
- Is it time for a career change?
- What we wear.
- What ignites our passions?
- Maybe even how we experience love.
All of these things change over time.
They can feel like easy, exciting changes but they can also feel daunting.
If you’re struggling with the idea of change at any time, consider this. Imagine your life as it is, continuing for the next 10 years and beyond. What feelings does that bring for you?
Then imagine life after making the changes that are in the back of your mind. Now imagine your life 10 years down the line. How does that make you feel?
If you can feel a difference that you like, then it’s up to you. What can you do to start that ball rolling?
