A combination of single malt matured and finished in oloroso sherry hogsheads sourced from José y Miguel Martín. Sherry notes, chocolate and smoke, a great combination for the colder nights.

In Edinburgh on Friday? The brilliant Ninefold Distillery are hosting a sampling at our sister shop Drinkmonger. This is a free in-store sampling from 4pm until 7pm on October the 25th. Head along to meet the team and find out about this Scottish rum distillery.

Arbikie, an innovative field to bottle Scottish distillery, made this single cask grain whisky using rye, wheat and barley grown on their own estate and then distilled at their craft grain distillery. Using Scottish Rye is extremely unusual, as is their small batch grain distillation style. Rye is the star here - bold and full of flavour, balanced with creamy, maple syrup from the wheat and biscuity, malty notes from the barley.

Our buyers were very excited about this barrel pick, as it's an unusual peating level from this Campbeltown distillery. We thought it was an incredible dram with a delightfully coastal nose brimming with peat, syrupy pancakes and an immense firework-filled finish. It’s bold, it’s brilliant, and we can’t wait for you to try it!

This is one of the first releases of this heavily peated spirit from Glen Scotia, aged in a first fill bourbon barrel, and bottled at cask strength to showcase this dram. 1 of 185 bottles.
