Richmond Craigmillar Church and Cafe

This Thursday 28th March at 7pm there will be a communion service in the church for Maundy Thursday. All welcome.

Sunday 24th March is Palm Sunday. Our service is at 11am -12 noon. With tea and coffee after the service.

Our celebration of 900 years of Christian worship @ Duddingston Kirk continues with Easter services:
24th: Palm Sunday, gather at the Kirk hall for 10:15. See previous post.
25th – 29th March Holy Week Services 900.
These will include the telling of the Easter story ...... should be a bit special ;)
Sunday: 31st March @ 7:00 Easter Service in the Gairden then breakfast in the Kirk Hall and then @10:30 our Easter Sunday 900 at which Holy Communion is celebrated.

This Sunday the 24th is Palm Sunday when Jesus make a triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

Our service is at 10:30, but if you are able please gather at the Kirk Hall by 10:15 and we process to the Kirk.

There will be joy and there will be a donkey.

Join us at 7pm on Friday (8th) for the St. Martin's Community Cinema. Our film this month is Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (Cert 12).

Admission is free, as are juice and ice-creams, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Muddy Church is meeting this Saturday, 3 February from 11am to 12:30pm at Duddingston Kirk Gardens. It is our final Muddy Church and we plan to end well with exploring the garden, wondering about places we have met with God at Muddy Church over the last 2 1/2 years, and then finishing with Smores at the campfire with hot chocolate. Christmas Eve a family service for the community and Richmond's Hope. With the opportunity to have the name of someone you love who has died read out at the beginning of the service.

Here's a note of all the Christmas services and events taking place in St. Martin's this Christmas. All the services will be livestreamed but we'd love to see you inperson as well.

For the first time in several years we have a traditional Watchnight service at 11.30pm. why not join us and welcome in Christmas Day together.
