Everyone is welcome at the next ‘Meet the Manager’ event at Ely station.

We will be joined by colleagues from CrossCountry trains, East Midlands Railway and Great Northern to answer your questions and listen to feedback about the service on Tuesday 23 April, 10am to 1pm.

At the same time, the Hereward Community Rail Partnership (CRP) will be joined at the station by the The Bittern Line, Wherry Lines, East Suffolk line and the Meldreth, Shepreth and Foxton Community Rail Partnership and Visit Ely for a showcase of attractions, things to do and great days out along the region’s rail branch lines.

The Role

The role will involve serving customers with a kind and courteous manner as well as preparing fresh food, keeping all areas looking clean, tidy and safe, ensuring kitchen and food prep areas are kept very clean, serving excellent hot drinks, draught beer and spirits.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:
· Due to our alcohol license, you must be over 18
· A flexible and friendly "can do" attitude
· Be very enthusiastic as well as having a great sense of humour
· Ability to work in a busy environment
· High attention to detail
· High standards of personal hygiene and appearance

Desirable
· Previous barista experience
· Use of an EPOS system
· Level 2 in Food Hygiene and Safety
· Previous experience of working in a customer orientated role
· Previous experience of working in a food establishment

Ely Food Station is open 7 days a week, so flexibility to work weekdays and weekends is essential.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
