Settling down nicely Tikka T3 6mm BR I did using a Pendragon Precision Barrels 1-7 twist MTU profile.
Steel is at 612 meters, right hand group is 10 rounds left hand group is 5 rounds, bit of a wind but that’s good going. 😎
There are custom cut muzzle crowns and there are others…
“caveat emptor” is the choice of words…check out the perfect gas dispersion on my crown.
R***r RPR one in 6.5 Creedmoor 1-8 twist and one in 308 win 1-10 twist with IBI 5R stainless barrels…
Get in touch.
Another Pendragon Precision Barrels settling down, this was a 223 Rem on a T3 after its run in…group shot at 200 yards…
Check out what’s coming up…
MDT ACC Elite Chassis £1649.00 and Re*****on clone custom actions to drop straight in…plus there is 2 Pendragon Precision Barrels for the price of 1 cut rifle barrel…what’s not to like and boy do they shoot well.
No middle men, what you see is what you pay…get in touch.
Nice bit of feedback on a recent job just starting its load development.
Tikka T3 with a 1-7 twist Pendragon Precision Barrels fitted and chambered in 6mm BR…
As I’ve been trying explain you don’t need a cut barrel for accuracy and longevity, nor do you need a CNC machine…for what you pay for a cut barrel you’d probably get two button barrels…
Good numbers there…
People ask why I don’t use a CNC, simple, it’s an additional cost involved with fitting a barrel.
There’s no more accuracy over a manual lathe but there is speed and repeatability due to having to use set parameters.
With a manual lathe you can make things a bespoke fit to corresponding threads…
Once the program is written it takes minutes to complete a barrel on a CNC over a manual lathe, which comes at a greater cost. CNC is great for production runs but not every day barrel fitting due
to high costs.
Simply press go and that will be 1k please…

New shipment of Bergara barrels coming in…happy days.
Anyone who’s had one will know how good these are, those who haven’t need to try one…
NOT A FOR SALE POST
Another nice bit of feedback from a customer…
Sako TRG 42 .338 Lap mag, which I fitted with a 1-9 twist stainless Pendragon Precision Barrels profiled straight no taper 1.120 to 30” and this was also testing my Drago Muzzle brake. I replaced the aftermarket barrel that was on it, which was mediocre and didn’t seem to shoot very well despite having done very little.
The results so far are very good with first round impacts at 2024 yards and a consistent 2 MOA.
Happy to say the least from a brand new barrel and the outstanding performance of the new muzzle brake.
No critial areas trued either…
3 month jail time (restricted account) might be up now…
Few bolt jobs to do, cleaning and opening up the faces. Had to make a jig to true them up.
As previously mentioned.
Have a preliminary date for the King Arthur practice/training day.

As previously mentioned…
Currently working on Tikka T3 prefit barrels, any interest for these do we think?
Comment below and share…
Afternoon, I keep getting messages about a date for the Area King Arthur practice/training range day.
I can’t give a date until I have firm numbers and with this some funds.
Those who are definites please comment below but also txt me for details. If you can’t do this one I intend to do others if time allows but I’ll give people plenty of notice.
Many thanks.
I would like to gauge some interest here if you please.
I’m looking to arrange an informal Precision rifle style practice/training day for novices or new shooters.
This will down on Bodmin Moor at Area King Arthur and will be in association with Southpoint Fi****ms and the visiting Cornish Steel slayers.
To help with cost of fuel I’d advise car sharing if possible…if you’re friendly enough that is…
There is the opportunity for both 22 and centrefire rifles out to 600 yards over different barricades in a fantastic setting over a weekend with lunch provided. I’m also planning on having a few rifles for people to test on the day.
There’s plenty of accommodation available in the area through Air B&B, hotels and campsites. There will also be the possibility of some components like rifle powder, primers and some projectiles being available to purchase.
This would be a great weekend if you’re interested in having a go at a PRS style setting. Costs to be advised but will be around £55 person for 1 day with lunch. There is also a nice clay shooting circuit on the same complex, which is worth a look.
You will need an open certificate, a target condition or you can join the club as a temporary member. There is a minimum of 10 people required but can take up to 20.
Just to add a deposit will be required.
Please feel to comment and share.
There we go, MPA chassis post gone…
I believe “others” are actively reporting my posts to the facebook Stasi…
Must be doing something right…
Still, please email us re the above.
I possibly have access to stock of Hardy carbon wrapped tubes coming up…

17 cal barrels on the cards, please watch this space…
Back at the IWA after a busy spell in the US last year with more Gunsmithing courses on the cards.
The IWA is celebrating 50 years so should be a good one, meeting up with some Gunsmithing school colleagues from the USA who are over picking up a few bits and helping with some consulting work for a trade colleague for export/import.
No doubt there will be a few new products but nothing on the scale of the Shot Show.
Few meetings getting on and lots of real people to catch up with.
Going to be a busy one before it’s back to the US again.
Interesting turn of events…despite Mr Sharpshooting claiming through the shooting community the work I completed for him was not to his specifications and not to his timescales etc, then submitting a bogus counterclaim for loss of business to the tune of 8k.
Failed to pay the court their required fee for his counterclaim has resulted in his claim being struck out.
Miraculously, after completing the pre hearing paperwork he has paid a portion of my claim…
Feel free to share the facts.
Only in the good old US of A…
Grocery store shopping…imagine this here.
Nice bit of feedback from another barrel job.
Now this one is for all the nae sayers that basically said ZPV Proizvodnja barrels were “sub standard” despite the fact I have offered to put them against any other barrel as they’re as good as any other barrel available…offer still stands…
So this is a ZPV chambered 308 Win, 30” straight no taper barrel on an unfettled Rem 700 action.
Distance 600 yards against some rather expensive rifles that didn’t come close…
Who was it who said to avoid 2 barrels for a £1000, which were ideal for and aimed at PRS…
Some nice new kit in, really worth a look from and thanks to Tim Martin please contact him for any information but this is quality kit at sensible prices.
This is the SRT - shoulder reference trimmer, a brass case trimming system based on a shoulder reference collet which is interchangeable based on calibre.
Then theres the PCPS - precision controller primer seater, which adjusts in 0.01mm increments for absolute precision repeatable primer seating depths (large and small primers) with interchangeable shell holders.
Then we have the comparator kit (I’ve shared this before) which includes the 5 different size body comparators for gauging headspace, and 14 different inserts for bullet comparison for setting your CBTO on calibres from 17cal upto 45cal, and includes a double-grub screw calliper
