A celebration for Hayley with a white chocolate and raspberry cake in the theme of her favourite video game -child of light. We were specifically asked by the customer if we could include in the design a soft painted effect of the game. Celebrating Caitlin’s 30th birthday with a split heart cake in strawberry and cream flavour. Featuring sugarflowers and multicolored sprinkle's. To give this cake a piped buttercream style we put together a series of vintage swirls and decals in fondant.

Hand Crafted Cupcakes at Market Street in Ely is TEN YEARS OLD today! Quite a milestone for Ben and I as not many businesses can say they’ve lasted that long.
My first order from the then brand new cake kitchen was for Ely cathedral- Alice in wonderland themed cupcakes for their Alice the musical outdoor event.
There’s been many ups and downs along the way but I am very grateful to all the customers that have helped us. Ben and I look forward to meeting many previous and many new customers in the near future.

Vanilla two tier cake for always on the move Georgina’s special birthday. Georgina travels constantly for her work and edible flags of the places she visits most can be found on her cake suitcase and her favorite handbag. The detail Ben managed to paint free hand on the edible passport I think is astounding!

This gorgeous cat was created in vanilla sponge cake. Markings all copied from the photographs provided by the customer of his own pet. We couldn’t do this cake at the precise time the customer wanted as we were very busy. The lovely customer was so keen for us to make the cake, he waited a whole month for us to have the time to fit his cake in. I think it was well worth the wait!

Created from a double chocolate cake this Mirror Carp was made for Harrison’s 16th birthday. The cake was covered with sugarpaste scale detail and then coloured with a professional blend of edible paint and food dusts to create that mirror wet look.

A very happy 30th birthday to my oldest son Jake. Jake is a huge football fan and Ben and I were in a big dilemma of what football shirt was best to make for Jakes cake. So we would like to say a huge thank you to the England football team for making this cake still relevant for Jakes special birthday today! England shirt is a chocolate with vanilla cake and Arsenal badge created in sugarpaste. Dinosaur sugar sprinkles embossed into the board as Jakes always loved them. Plus let’s face it at 30 he is a bit of an old dinosaur anyway!

Amy’s 30th birthday cake reflecting her love of nature. Cake had to include a fox, a kestrel and a European hedgehog surrounded with leaves. Daisys, Buttercups and Roses in different stages of growth entwined with a string of exactly 30 pearls all created in sugarpaste. The chocolate orange cake we created a tree stump.

Lily and Rose celebrate their 13th birthday with an instrument music cake In chocolate and vanilla. Can’t believe these young ladies have turned 13. I remember making their sunflower cupcakes for their 5th birthday like it was yesterday! Both instruments created in sugarpaste with embossed dusted music.

A special 80th birthday party again hosted at the lovely Poets House held over the weekend. A cluster of sugar flowers including roses and parrot tulips and Scamp the dog on top. Marbelling detail on the base tier. This is the second time we’ve modelled cheeky chappy Scamp as he featured on another member of the famillies special cake a few years ago.
