📢 Try my egg crush pulse ups challenge😁

Basically try doing as many pulse ups as you can with an egg underneath your hips without crushing it😄 The pressure is real🤣🤣

I came up with this idea and then chickened out and went for a ping-pong ball instead😆

Try it and tell me how many you can do in comments and I will try to beat it😄

Be creative with your props if you don't want to clean an 🥚 from your matt.

I managed .... not a lot🤣

Even uploading a video was a tricky one🤭

Forearm stand aka pincha mayurasana tutorial. I haven't got any gymnastics background, I never did any of this when I was a child. It is possible to learn it at any age with little patience and some good cues.

Whatever I tell you in my tutorials is based on anatomy, physiology and experience.

My state of flow definitely happens upside down 🤸‍♀️

Inversions are the best to learn to focus. You can then apply it to different areas of life and become more efficient.

If it's too hot to exercise 🥵 stretch instead 😁

Heat is actually good for stretching. Use this rather warm time to melt into some nice stretches and unwind. There are some slow yoga asana classes on mu youtube channel that you can use for stretching ideas.

This is one of my favourite stretches. You can work on your hips and shoulders at the same time. Win win😁

Friday little movement.

Movement is a crucial part of mammals life. Not necessarily just a weighloss tool. Once you see the movement as equally important to sleep and nutrition, it will become easier to find time for it every day✌️😊

Did you know that the focus needed to stay upside down helps quiet the brain and keep those unwanted thoughts away?

Try it💪 it doesn’t need to be a handstand, any inversion will do.

I love being on my hands. Keeping my wrist injury free is my priority now😁

A few years ago, a group of researchers wrote a paper on how people who are able to sit down and get up of the floor without using hands and knees for support are seven times more likely to live longer than the ones that couldn't.

The research was primarily aimed at elderly but they also confirmed that this applies to people over 40.

I'm slightly skeptical as I'm not sure if this is down to mobility or weight, or both🤔 However, other researches show that mobility, flexibility, balance, motor coordination and skeletal muscle strength has a great impact on the life expectancy.

So, go and take a test. Lower yourself down to the floor without using hands and knees. Try not to cross your legs for extra difficulty. Then bring yourself back up again. If you pass, great, hats off👏👏👏

If you fail, don't worry, you can learn it. It's a skill that you can practice and gain. Watch my get up tutorial on YouTube to find out which muscles you need to activate to be able to do it. Practice every day for a few minutes and I guarantee you going to be able to do it within a few weeks💪

Physical activity should be a part of a balanced life. Not just a part of the weightloss journey.

Just a reminder.

We all need to move our bodies to stay fit and healthy regardless shape or weight.

Movement is not a weighloss tool.

Yoga is a journey of self exploration. Asana is a part of it. It happens that it's also a physical activity. You can make it a part of your life🧘‍♀️

Chest and Core circuit with dumbbells coming up next on my youtube channel.

This is more of an endurance training, so I would recommend using light dumbbells and adding reps.

Try to brace your core by bringing the navel up and back towards the spine whilst breathing.

IG wouldn't have my post yesterday 🤷‍♀️ So, there it is, day later.

New core circuit on my youtube channel (link in bio).

I don't really work that much specifically on my abs. I mainly work on my core as this includes all the muscles that go around your trunk to keep your organs and spine safe.

If you keep working on your core and have a good diet with appropriate calorie intake, you will achieve nice looking abs too.

I avoid working towards visual gains and I advise people don't because I believe that all healthy bodies look good but not all good looking bodies are healthy.

However, if you are after tonned middle section then work on your core and that way you get both✌️

Excuse my bad planks in the video, the body refused to lean forward due to writs pain🙈

In this short video I'll show you how lack of awareness can cause an injury whilst performing relatively easy and very common exercise.

The exercise or movement I talk about is a leg extension which is used in most leg/glutes training programmes. It is a great way to improve your glutes strength and definition but it can cause low back injury if not done correctly.

Every now and then it doesn’t flow. I create a flow but then it doesn't flow. More I try try to make it flow, less it flows.

So, it was today. There was a flow that didn't flow. Hence, no flow🥴

Fortunately, there is plenty other flows on my youtube, you can grab and flow💫 Also, there might be a tomorrow and tomorrow it might flow again.

In simple terms, not my day🤣

Runners training not only for runners. This little workout is for enyone who suffers from knee or hip pain caused by weak and tight tensor fasciae latae. It's a small but mighty muscle that stabilises the hips and knees whilst walking, running or lunging.

It might become tight and weak which compromises its' function and destabilise the hips and knees. in consequence you might feel pain in one or both of these areas whilst moving or afterwards.

This workout doesn't look hard and it probably won't feel like a proper workout but if you want to get rid of that pain I recommend adding it to your workout routine.

3-5 Sets or less if you're a beginner.

Disclaimer: this workout should be done after your activity and never before, as it will tire the muscle and cause more pain.

Also, I'm not a doctor or physio and, if you have a knee or hip pain, you should consult it with a professional. This training is only a recommendation for healthy people who feel pain during or after running or walking and know that there is nothing else causing it.

We live in an outcome oriented world. We believe and teach our kids that there must be always an outcome and that it should be a good one.

Blindly ignoring the fact that there is no outcome in life. It's all just a cycle, people and things come to existence and then terminate.

It's not sad, it's not negative, it is what it is. Once we notice it, life becomes easier. Not chasing outcomes, not waiting, not expecting is a bliss.

Officially back in the game🤸‍♀️ Four weeks later🙈 can't tell you how much I appreciate being able to be upside down again for a millisecond🤏

I lost a lot of strength and balance but really happy to be able to start working on regaining it😊

So, the only thing I can say is: know your exercise technique, warm up, back off when it feels weird, don't push through pain.

There are some tutorials on my youtube channel and more coming up every week.

Things that inspire me are running and handstands 😆 did both today. Finally, after 4 weeks I am able to get into handstand for about 2 seconds 🤪 is gone😪 lesson learned.

Summer Arms Circuit loading for you right now. It's not just a summer workout but I thought the name was nice😆

It's a simple circuit you can do with a set of small dumbbells or water bottles. Go for a small resistance and put the reps in. Repeat 3-5 times for the best arm burn🔥😁

It works arms and shoulders, improves strength and endurance, also gives a nice arm definition if this is what you are after.

Upper back recovery and stretch. This is my absolute number one to go to when feeling tight in the back and shoulders ofter a day at the computer.

If you work on a computer a lot, I would say you might want to buy a foam roller. And no, I don't sell them and don't have a discount code to share😆 but you can find them quite cheap in your local shops or on the net.

This is a nice, little tool that can be very useful and it's worth having.

Like all my core burn workouts (yes, there is more) it's short but mighty. These are the type of workouts I mainly do.

Core training doesn’t have to be long. Core muscles will develop as long as you are consistent and do little but often.

Complete 3-5 sets at the end of your main training session whether resistance or cardio. You can also do it just on it's own if that's your plan for the day.

Never complete your core training at the beginning of your workout though.

In this video I'll show you a few tips on how to get into uttanasana or ardha uttanasana. Forward fold is an important part of yoga vinyasa practice and it's a bit tricky to avoid altogether.

It can be problematic for some people especially in the beginning as it requires a level of flexibility and body awareness.

Not all yoga cues are based on our anatomy which can sometimes make us work against our natural movement patterns. In this video you'll find a little explanation about folding and how to make it more accessible and safe.

I hope it will help you with you daily practice and enable you to gain more flexibility and ease in your daily movement.

Utthita Parsvakonasana - extended side angle pose is a great asana to include in your practice. It engages a lot of muscles including core, arms, legs and glutes. It boost energy, build strength and flexibility.

It's not simple and it requires some understandimg and body awareness. In this short tutorial I give a few tips on how to approach and practice this asana.

It comes up in a lot of vinyasa flows, definitely appears in my flows, so it's good to know its anatomy.

There is no right or wrong in yoga, but there is safe💫✌️
