The Exmouth Speaking Up group reviewed the easy read Adult Safeguarding information and sent our comments to Jo Morgan. We agreed this is really important stuff, we all have the right to be safe and we need information that we can understand.

The Exmouth and Ottery Speaking Up groups joined together tonight. Leila Manion, Jess Collins and Lucy Blackley from Living Options came to ask our views about annual health checks. We also talked about change, how difficult it can be and what helps us to manage change.

The Big Event showed all the great work being done with Torbay Council on The Big Plan to make life better for people with learning disabilities in Torbay. The Ambassadors look forward to a new and exciting future in Torbay π.

Tonight at Speaking Up we talked about voting and our rights. We finished the evening talking about positive mental health. Looking after each other, listening and sometimes a hug can make a world of difference.
Today we tasted hot cross buns from Asda . The triple chocolate hot cross buns won the test. Very tasty! π
Itβs all going on today! A busy skittles group. First and Last Inn we are made so welcome. I canβt even think how many years we have been coming here.
And itβs off! The Big Plan. Our wonderful ambassadors working together with Torbay and welcoming a joined up approach. Itβs on until 2 with lots of exciting speakers and activities.
