From tomorrow Tuesday July 30th Ide high street is closed for 3 days. Unfortunately you will have to find alternative routes Alphington through Shillingfords or bypass A38 off at Haldon Racecourse.

as most of you know Jenny has been in hospital once again, she got bitten by one of her horses Derek, which resulted in two surgeries and a big Scar.  she is feeling a lot better and looking forward to seeing everybody on Saturday not gonna have a great time line on her arm tho 😂😂 and Derek didn’t mean to bite her he was trying to get Gary🐴🐴

What a day I am so proud of Gary he was a super star as always. we where unplaced in the ridden show class and then I thought let’s just do the jumping one as I had entered. he only went and jumped clear and came second what a horse he is clever boy Gary what a lovely day we have had thank you to the top groom Susie Morris # # and everyone that came to cheer us on it means a lot hope everyone else had a nice day and well done to everyone else that rode ❤️❤️

So the final preparation show for Jenny and Gary went very well today winning their class.Then going champion and to finish off the day, supreme champion of the whole show 😍😍 gary was so good looking forward to Saturday approximately 11 to 11.30 in the matford ring behind the farmers friend shop look forward to see you there if your going make sure you come and say hello and give gary a pat and a polo if you have any there his favourite😍😍😍 

Happy horses and ponies today we are so happy to finally see the flies I didn’t think I would ever be saying that…. We love these horses so much to see them happy in the sun makes the wet weather seem so far away❤️❤️❤️ we love the haldon ponies❤️❤️❤️ can you spot any of your favourites to ride???

It’s with great sadness we had to let go of our Harvey today 33 yrs young. He was the dude of the riding stables loved by all that knew him. He was semi- retired , taking out an elderly gentleman most Tuesdays for half hour ( at a walk) ending in lots of carrots from John who adored him and Harvey would wait for his weekly treat. He also was always in the quad basket looking for carrots 🥕 He carried children to adults beginners to experienced in his lifetime also walking across Dartmoor and a lap of Exeter racecourse with Sarah Gainsford to raise over £20,000.00 for the injured jockeys fund.Harvey Thankyou for the memories you were a true gentleman & hope you’ve got lots of carrots 🥕 over the 🌈 ❤️
