Described as a sweeping first novel of love, war and resistance in postโSecond World War Japanese-occupied Vietnam , Twilight Territory is a war story and a love story that offers a fascinating perspective on Vietnam's struggles to break free of its French colonial past.
Available on Libby until 25th July.

We've been making progress: Our nasturtiums are in bloom and the cucumbers are coming along.
The Justice Service workers have made a start on clearing out the overgrown bed to the front of the library, which we'll be planting up with pollinator friendly perennials soon.
We'd also love to transform the unused space at the corner of the library and put in some barrels of flowers or a nice metal bench - can anyone help with this?.
If you want to help out - or even if you fancy growing something, but don't have the space at home - come along! The library has lots of space for growing. Houseplant parents welcome too!
