Some folks have been asking how Shona and Michael are doing on their "stroll" from Land's End to John O' Groats. They are will be in their own bed tomorrow night after arriving home. They leave from Polmont station around 8.45/9.00 tomorrow and after a coffee break at Klondyke will arrive at the Kelpies between 11.00 and 11.30 - feel free to drop by and say hello. The next leg of their marathon starts next week.
Many thanks for all your support and prayers for them over these past 9 weeks
Jack
Morning all, unfortunately due to illness we do not have anyone to record our service today. God willing we will be back with you next Sunday.
Good evening to Miller Hall Midweek from Shona and Mike take a Hike. This is a wee video made today as we set out to walk from our caravan site at Stafford to Stoke-on-Trent. Watch out the swans at the end.
Miller Hall Midweek.
Good evening to all our Miller Hall friends, sadly there is still no suitable wi-fi to upload a video to update you on our progress. We do have enough of a signal to be able to provide a written update, and hopefully a few photos.
Once again we would like to express our thanks for all your prayers and messages of support, we really do appreciate them and have had a strong sense of God's presence as we have walked.
We walked from Ross-on-Wye to Ledbury today, Wednesday the 29th, and this took our overall walking mileage to 368.5 since leaving Lands End.
As many of you will know, the verse that Shona received the day we left Falkirk was: Exodus 23 verse 20, "I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way". This, without doubt, is something we have experienced as we have been walking.
Another thing we have experienced is the encouragement from God's Word. For many years now it has been our practise to read through the entire Bible in a year. On Sunday evening a verse from the daily reading in 1 Chronicles Chapter 28 and verse 20 said this:
"Be strong and very courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is complete".
In the light of this verse, we believed, that the Lord was confirming that, for us at the moment, this is the work He has called us to do and pray that through it He might be glorified.
Just a few photos, for those who do not know, Shona's maiden name is Weir and she is the Big Sister, hence the Bigsweir photo. The other person on one of the photos is a lovely man called Alan Thorpe, he is a Railway Chaplain in the South West.
Thanks again for reading.
If you can't see our service from Miller Hall today in your usual way, it may be due to someone (me) pressing a wrong button. However if you do a search for Miller eHall on Facebook you should find it there.
Hope Michael finishes his long walk quickly - clearly computer things and I don't get on!!!!!
Good evening to all our Facebook friends, that's us managed to upload a blog for this week at:
shona-mike-lejog24.blogspot.com
Despite the signal in Bristol being absolutely atrocious.
Miller Hall Midweek from Shona and Mike Take a Hike.
Once again due to the lack of decent wifi or a decent phone signal it has not been possible, once again, to upload a video.
We just wanted to provide a wee update to say that despite a few blisters we are still enjoying the walk. We really want to thank everyone for the messages of support and to say we have been very much aware of your prayers, thanks once again.
We have now covered nearly 300 miles and walked into Bristol today on schedule. Hopefully, we will be able to upload more videos in the weeks that lie ahead.
Hello to all friends of Miller Hall, due to poor internet connection, Shona and Mike are unable to post to Miller Hall Midweek at the moment.
Miller Hall Midweek: The latest from Shona and Mike Take a Hike
What a difference a week makes, last Monday Corwall treated us to its worst weather. Today it was some of the best it hard to offer.
Miller Hall Midweek
Thanks to Jack Watson, who’s behind the camera, for these wee photo’s of us with some of our Miller Hall family before we set off to head south to start the “big walk”. Their practical and prayer support, along with so many other family, friends and strangers is really a great blessing and encouragement. Thanks to all.
Hello to all our Miller Hall Friends, as many of you know Shona and I will be heading off this weekend on our massive challenge. We've posted another short video to let everyone know what we have been up to in our preparations.
Thanks again for all your prayerful support and encouragement.

Good morning to all
Miller Hall friends.
Whilst we cannot be live, we will be attempting to record the service today and post later.
Good evening to all our Miller Hall friends, it is with regret we must advise that we are still experiencing technical difficulties with our online service.
Please be assured we have been working hard to try and resolve the issue, which, according to the message we receive when trying to go live, is that our online presence cannot be established, whatever that means.
We really are sorry that you cannot join with us in this way. Please pray that we can be back live very soon.
Wishing everyone God's blessing.
Good morning everyone, sadly the Miller Hall page cannot go live due to on-going technical issues.
Good morning to all our facebook friends. Last week whilst trying to start a live broadcast a message popped up on the screen that said:
Can’t start live broadcast
Your account needs an established presence before you can go live.
We’ve changed nothing and after a lot of searching I have come up with no solution, any help would be much appreciated, please message if you can help.
It is hoped Miller Hall will be live shortly.
There seems to be an internet problem.
Sadly due to technical difficulties Miller Hall will be unable to stream live on Sunday 24/3/24.
Watch out for Easter Sunday announcement.
