Looking towards the Equinox, Dancing with Balance and Harmony Dance the Prayers of your Body, Heart and Soul!
Simple sacred chants and movements. Beautiful Live Music. Powerful breath practices, and sharing. Ritual and ceremony. The opportunity to meet ourselves and each other, fully embodied, in the heart-space of deep meditation and devotion.
Everything clearly guided and held. All are welcome, whether you are new friends or old.
These dances could be called body prayers: simple, gentle yet powerful movements with chants drawn from many world traditions, all celebrating Unity.
Moving, chanting and breathing in rhythm together we begin to harmonise ourselves as individuals and as a group. Our bodies and hearts can realign with the rhythm of our souls. The results can be wonderful: we may experience sensations of peace and joy, heart-opening connections with others and a sense of oneness with all-that-is.
Everything is taught as we go along, so anyone can join.
If you’d like to join us for a shared meal afterwards, please bring a contribution of something delicious to share.

This gentle, seated yoga class is designed for individuals seeking a mindful, accessible approach to movement and flexibility. Using a chair for support, participants will explore traditional yoga poses adapted to be performed either sitting or using the chair for balance, making this class ideal for those with limited mobility, balance concerns, or who are new to yoga.
Through guided breathing exercises, stretches, and gentle postures, participants can expect to improve flexibility, reduce tension, and promote relaxation in a comfortable, supportive environment. Why I love Hatha flow..?
Because my mobility and strength increases, my balance improves, my lungs get stronger, I increase my concentration level and manage to empty my mind.
Level 2 cardio exercise and resistance strength training is key to longevity and you get both on my class as well as we do breath work and relaxation so you never leave the class pumped up, with unsettled energy, instead you leave feeling balanced and content.
I am proud of my fitness regime and what I can achieve, much of it is thanks to the almost 10 years yoga practice behind me! The strength, the discipline and the ability to adopt and cope is all the reward of the strict daily practice.
Creating a home practice is important but also is working in a group environment. They both have different benefits and energies!

Look at the black dot in the middle of the picture and see if you can create a white halo around the dot of equal proportions. Dont worry if initially the orb is more to one side or moving....your eyes just need to settle. You can feel them strengthen. Once your eyes rest with the halo let this be your focus. The eyes will become tired. Once they become so tired that you need to rest and close them let them close and watch the negative image of the black dot, this becomes your gentle focus, at the space in front of the closed eyes. Try to keep the image in front of your closed eyes still.
Once it fades open your eyes and begin the practice again. Play with this just for 3 or 5 minutes and see how you feel.
Tratak - a gateway to inner peace. During this 6 week course I will guide you through this practice with the dot, with a yantra and a candle flame. It is a beautiful simple and effective practice to quieten the mind.

Then the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course maybe for you!
The course has been designed by the BWY (the governing body for Yoga in the UK) for students who wish to take their practice further.
All aspects of Yoga is covered asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, meditation, relaxation and of course the history and philosophy of Yoga. These areas will be covered in far more depth than a weekly class can offer.
The course will be taught by our very own Wednesday night teacher and BWY Foundation Course Tutor Claire, from our very beautiful studio.
