Interns Online bridges the gap between the Philippines’ academic sector and the international workfor
November has been such a busy networking month already that I'm still catching up with posts and connecting with people I've met!!!
Earlier in the month I had the absolute pleasure of attending a meet-and-greet “Kapihan sa Pasuguan” with Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Philippine Department Tourism (PDOT) at the Philippine Embassy in London.
Being from a travel and tourism background, it was fascinating to hear Sec. Frasco sharing her proactive tourism policies and plans for the Philippines.
Of course it was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with some of the fantastic Philippine Community Representatives, Filipino Media Personalities, British-Filipino stakeholders, Religious groups, Filipino-British Business Owners and Professionals.
A wonderful event - a big thank you to the team at the Philippines Embassy in London for hosting us and making everyone feel so welcome.

Last week, the Interns Online Operations Director/Founder Melissa Grace Dizon had the pleasure of speaking virtually to over 150 delegates at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Cavite.
The webinar was part of the University's 'Borderless Learning Experience Program' and was entitled "A Webinar on Achieving an International and Future-Proof Career."
The subject is one of huge interest to Mel and she talked about how times are changing rapidly with the move towards digital trends and the emergence and evolution of A.I.
It was also an opportunity for Mel to share her story, moving to the UK and setting up Interns Online to offer virtual, international internships to students and young professionals from the Philippines.
Mel's over-riding message was the importance that young people must place upon defining themselves, finding the niche that works best for them and then investing in themselves.
The future, virtual, global workplace will be complicated and fast-moving but also exciting and crammed full of opportunity.
A big thank you to the Lyceum of the Philippines University for offering Mel the opportunity to speak to the future Philippine business superstars and good luck with your future (proof) careers!
Interns Online CEO Andy Cruttenden had the absolute pleasure earlier in the week of attending a reception to celebrate the 124th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of the Philippines.
The reception was held by H.E. The Ambassador of the Philippines to the Court of St. James's and his wife at the beautiful Smoking Room of the East India Club in London.
At Interns Online we provide international online work experience to Filipinos with many of our host companies here in the UK so it was an excellent opportunity to celebrate, meet some old friends and also continue to grow our network within the international Philippine community.
A huge thank you to the Ambassador and his wife for an incredible evening.
InternsOnline bridges the gap between the Philippines’ academic sector and the international workforce by providing strategic multicultural partnerships between global companies and interns.
We believe we equip interns with the most up-to-date and in-demand skillset based on international standards.

I thought it would be a really nice idea to periodically showcase some of the incredible company partners that work with us at Interns Online providing amazing learning experiences for our interns - so here's "Turo Turo".
Over the weekend our Operations Director Mel Dizon had the opportunity to attend the Filipino Women's Association UK General Meeting in Kensington London.
Feeling truly inspired and uplifted, Mel has written a short article on her Linked In page - link below.

So last week our Operations Manager in the Philippines, Nadine Victoria Dizon had the absolute pleasure of visiting the British Ambassador's Residence in Makati City for the Annual General Meeting of the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP).
As BCCP members it was a fabulous opportunity for Nadine to meet local business representatives and talk in more detail about InternsOnline and our Philippine Student Interns programs.
Nadine said after the meeting, "It was lovely to meet the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Philippines, Laure Beaufils and to network with representatives from some large and successful international businesses with extensive links in the Philippines.
I'm really looking forward to building on the connections that I made at the meeting and attending future events on behalf of InternsOnline."
We thought we'd share just a few pics from the event. A huge thank you to the Ambassador and the BCCP team for making us feel so welcome.
Really exciting to be able to 'officially launch' Interns Online as we start to roll out our new website and presence on social media platforms.
I'm Andy Cruttenden, and my role in the company will be as CEO but the business will be managed by my partner Mel Dizon, who is the Operations Director based here in the UK.
The Philippines arm of the business will be run locally by Nadine Victoria Dulalia who is our Operations Manager.
