Melanie Watson

Melanie has a love of mathematics and is very happy to work with pupils of all ages. She particularly enjoys preparing pupils for their GCSE maths exams. Melanie read Mathematics at Sommerville College, Oxford and has spent time working as a chartered accountant and as a registrar. She qualified to teach through the Graduate Teacher Programme and worked for a number of years at St Edmund’s School in Dover.

Eleanor Jay

Eleanor has a first class degree in English from Lancaster University. She has many years teaching experience in secondary schools where her roles included Head of Department and Assistant Headteacher. She specialises in secondary English Literature and Language, including GCSE preparation.

Natalie Lansdell

Natalie has a varied experience teaching in both KS1 and KS2. She worked in the Careers Service prior to training as a teacher via the GTP route and then spent twelve years working as a teacher at Mersham Primary School. Natalie has a BSc in Science (Psychology) and an MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology from the University of East London. She specialises in KS1 teaching and English.

Chris Crofts

Chris has over thirty years of experience as a lecturer at Kent College where he has taught Chemistry, Mathematics, and also Construction Courses up to HNC level. Chris holds a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry from John Cass College, London and subsequently gained an MSc in the Molecular Science of Materials. He holds a Cert. Ed. from Garnett College. Chris tutors KS3 and GCSE Maths.

Tamara Baldwin

Tamara has worked for twenty years as a primary school teacher. She particularly enjoys English teaching and has also published teaching materials for KS3 and GCSE English. Tamara has an MA in English from Edinburgh University and a MA in Children’s Literature from Roehampton University. At present Tamara provides tutoring cover for illness and holidays as well as invaluable support with the Centre administration.
