Thanks to all those who came to the first Beatbox Baby Rave in Hawkinge, brought their beautiful energy and made it a great little party. Amongst lots of lovely moments was one where a little girl, who had stayed in her Mum's arms for most of the session, came down towards the end and was the first on the mic and created a great little beat! It was amazing and we all celebrated her for it. She wondered off casually with a slight grin like it was nothing lol. You can't under estimate the importance of these little breakthrough moments that help build confidence and self esteem. Amazing! Well done that girl 😁🌈🥳

Gratitude to all the parents and little ones that came to today's Beatbox Baby Rave. Once again there were some beautiful breakthroughs where children, who were initially a little shy, come out of their shell and explored some movement and just let go and had fun - which is so beautiful to witness and be a part of. It's great when you see their little faces light up when they are acknowledged and celebrated. These moments are significant, particularly after the last 3 years. Here's to helping as many children as possible get their confidence up to full power. Some of the children made some great beats of their own at the end too - I was stunned. Beatbox Baby Raves reach parts that other events just can't reach lol. They are very unique and we always have a lot of fun. There are always magical moments where everyone is in the zone. Love it! Look forward to seeing you at the next one 😁🥳🌈

Today was such a beautiful Baby Rave. So much Interaction and contact between parents and their children, so much encouragement, love and support - and you could see the children really appreciated it. Was beautiful to see how the children opened up during the session, experimented and had lots of fun, even recording their own voices at the end which I turned into a little song - and their eyes lit up in wonder. Brilliant! Thank you all for bringing your energy and for just being you. See you in 2 weeks! 💖🌈🥳

Just one positive, affirming moment can be a game changer for a child and I hope some of those moments happened here. Lots more to come in these events as they evolve, including more songs that plant seeds of mindfulness and positive affirmations in song form to bring more empowerment. Wow, what an amazing Beatbox Baby Rave that was today! Such amazing energy and expression! Great to see so many adults interacting with their little ones and busting some moves of their own. What really blew me away though was I could visibly see children opening up and growing in confidence before my eyes. That's the main reason that I do this. I also do this to bring people together in unity, so it's about community and coming together to do what humans have done since the beginning of time - to dance. It's in our bones. Thank you amazing people! 💖🌈

I’m going to be doing an open air practice session (Beatboxing set) in Radnor Park (near the children’s swing park) this Wednesday (15th Feb), starting at 1pm for about an hour. A massive shout out to all the parents who braved the cold weather to come today's Beatbox Baby Rave - it was really lovely to see so much beautiful interaction between parents and their little ones. Massive amounts of admiration, love and respect for the parents and little ones who came to the Beatbox Baby Rave tonight 💖 but particularly for the parents and how fully they expressed themselves (which makes such a massive impact on the children and what they see as being possible for them and how they can show up in the world) and how they encouraged and supported the little ones by their loving, supportive presence, their encouragement and their getting involved and contact between them and their littles ones - it's so important for children and it makes them feel so safe, protected and grounded and creates a great foundation for them to be able to express themselves. So amazing job everyone you're giving these children a beautiful gift and we had a great time and all created an amazing atmosphere while we were at it! Awesome stuff! Looking forward to the Christmas one! 🙌🌈💖🥳🎅🏻🎄

So I just ran one of my Beatbox Baby Raves and over one of the beats I created, I went out onto the dance floor to dance and express myself and model that it's ok for us to move and express ourselves how we want to and to celebrate them and give encouragement and over the beat on the mic I started to speak about how secret, magical energy is available to us when we hold nothing back and fully go for it. And I continued saying that ‘did you know, we can move and dancing any way we want, there’s no rules, how free can you be etc? ‘did you know that the whole point of dancing is to go for it, to completely let go?! Somebody told me this the other day, whilst out dancing and I heard it so clearly. It summed it up in the most simple way. I had been saying to her, that I noticed that when she really went for it just now, that I could really feel the energy, it was different. And I said I’ve noticed this, that when you fully let go when you’re dancing, it releases amazing energy. And she simply said ‘That’s the point’. Maybe someone has said this to me before. Maybe I know it. I do know it on some level. But I needed to hear this. It really cut through – ‘that’s the point of it’. Not just ‘yeah, sometimes, you can really go for it and it feels really good, but otherwise just try’n look good, acceptable and continue not to stand out too much kind of thing.’ IT IS THE WHOLE POINT OF IT. We need to start approaching the dance floor in a whole new way (many of us). Approach it with the attitude of how free can I be? How fully can I go for it?! And also notice any inner voice that says anything like ‘you can’t do that’ or ‘don’t fully go for it’ ‘people will laugh at you or shame you in some way’ – these are some of the ways this voice might come through. Just notice it and don’t act on it, just continue to feel into the body and how it wants to move and this has just let those limiting thoughts go – you’ve broke the chains! Repeat if needed and their maybe other limiting beliefs. Use the same process. It is so worth the amazing feelings of bliss and euphoria that get released as you let go of these old beliefs. Not only that but you are expressing yourself, you, the unique expression of consciousness that you came to earth to be and as you do this, you are showing other people that they can do this too and in this way, creating a ripple effect and doing your bit for humanity – whilst also feeling amazing and liberated. A serious win win. This is what is all about. Bless all the beautiful beings who came tonight and brought their unique, magnificent energy and individual expressions. Beautiful. Well, that’s my first ever Halloween Beatbox Baby Rave in the books! Was lots of fun…lots of spookiness and lots of great costumes! Amazing spooky projections from Sophie Wyllie Art. As always, lovely to see lots of self expression, dancing, movement and parent and child bonding and interaction - beautiful 🌞And lovely to get out and chat to a few of you at the end. Well that was amazing! What a lovely space we all created together! It was so explorative, supportive and welcoming. You guys are amazing! Thank you to everyone for coming and for helping to hold space and create an atmosphere that all the little ones felt safe to explore and express themselves in - it was lovely to see. It’s been a strange couple of years and some children may not have been in a room with that many other children - so they will only warm into - as will we as we get to know each better each time we meet.
