This one’s actually my own kitchen. I moved into a cottage in Frome just over a year ago and the kitchen was very tired - likely been there as it was for 35 years plus. Those lovely veneered cupboards… 🫤

I don’t have the spare cash to buy a new kitchen right now and I’m not one to finance things wherever possible - so here’s what a little bit of hard work and some paint can do.

Ceiling: Tikurilla AR2

Tiles: Zinsser Allcoat tinted to F&B Colour “Railings”.

Walls: Crown Clean Extreme Matt - colour — it’s a mushroom colour with a slight dusty pink tint. Not with the paint can and can’t remember the name 😂.

UPVC windows - Benjamin Moore Aura Matte tinted to Onyx.

Kitchen units and skirting boards: Benjamin Moore Aura tinted to Chantilly Lace

Frome - just a quick bedroom refresh.

Sherrington, Wiltshire - A lovely kitchen for .

Warminster - one bedroom, heavy on the prep to get it to a gorgeous end finish. The walls were a complete mess here; multiple fills, rebuilding all the corners and plenty of sanding. Worth it for the end result.

Warminster - this one was certainly prep heavy. Terrible wall conditions, had to rebuild every corner in the room and go through a 3 fill process to give some new life to those walls!

Lovely little project giving an old wardrobe a real freshen up. Painted in Little Greene colour “Light Gold” with new brass k***s.

Just a white bathroom… repainted white but… some quite heavy repairs happened here where the plasterboard taping had blown on every ceiling/wall line. Fixed and repainted in Zinsser Permawhite for 7 years mould protection.

Just a little bathroom. Lots of repairs - paint peeling away everywhere from where the previous decorator hadn’t misted the walls.

Woodwork - Banjamin Moore Aura in Satin.

Lovely Kitchen in a Victorian House in Frome. Plenty of questionable@plastering to sand back and hide and a build up of years of bad caulking to rip out along all the ceiling lines to fill, sand and re caulk for some nice sharp edges.

Frome - a bedroom for a lucky 7 year old girl. Previous built in wardrobe was ripped out. Ceiling part was reskimmed but due to plasterer time availability - the wall couldn’t be done too. Plenty of prep work here feathering in the plaster work on the existing walls to smooth the surface, wallpaper stripping and filling galore. Ceiling finished on Tikurilla Anti Reflex 2, walls in Tikurilla Optiva 5 (tinted to Farrow and Ball colour “Middleton Pink” and; woodwork finished in Tikurilla Helmi 10.

Frome - a bedroom for a lucky 9 year old in a house new to the current owners. Previous built in wardrobe removed and area reskimmed. Finished in Tikurilla Anti Reflex 2 for the ceilings, Tikurilla Optiva 5 (mixed to Farrow and Ball colour “Mizzle” and; all woodwork completed in Tikurilla Helmi 10.

Frome - a bedroom made beautiful. Ceilings in Tikurilla Anti Reflex 2; walls in Tikurilla Optiva 5 and woodwork, including a previously wooden, varnished door - finished in Tikurilla Helmi 10. ❤️

A transformation of a kitchen/living room in Frome. Silk ceilings, a Vinyl Matt Pewter Grey for the walls and a White Gloss Woodwork - amazing change from the state of the walls, ceiling and woodwork!

Transformation of a Hallway and Stairs in Frome. Walls required extensive filling and prep to save the hassle of replastering. All worth it and a beautiful finish with striking colour details.

Project completed in North Barrow, Somerset.
