Spotted in the wild 👀 Wasps Summer Artists and Makers Market is happening this weekend at The Briggait and it was a joy to design to design the poster for this event and to see it across Glasgow.

What a night! Our first bookbinding workshop .glasgow was a blast! 📚

BONJOUR → I’m running today for ! Let’s start with a short introduction.

I’m Clementine, a French designer + workshop facilitator with a passion for printmaking, book design and buttery pastries.

I run Concrete Nature, an environmentally conscious creative studio based in Glasgow. I launched the studio in 2020 to bring focus to my practice and explore themes at the intersection of design, nature and sustainability though self-initiated and commissioned projects, workshops and printed goods.

I design risograph prints + collages to bring nature and design into your homes, creative kits + workbooks to get you creative, and publications to get you inspired and to provide a platform for others. JULY WORKSHOP ✂️ Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Henri Matisse at Counter Edinburgh on July 24th at 6:30pm. Craft your own bold compositions inspired by the master, using hand-painted sheets that echo his iconic style.

NONSENSE 📚 This risograph printed workbook is an invitation to explore Dadaism and get creative in your own time. This workbook can only be complete with the reader’s intervention → each page can be read as a prompt to be filled with your own words, illustrations, photographs and collages using your own materials as well as the random cut-outs pieces you will find in the glassine envelope attached to the inside cover. This workbook can be disassembled and reassembled however you see fit, pages can be removed or added; it is yours to make your own.
