The event will now be held in The Social Hub cafรฉ, 15 Candleriggs, Glasgow, G1 1TQ.
The Social Hub is less than a minute away from the MND Scotland office, so parking and transport information remains the same. Updated accessibility information can be found on the event web page. The event will still take place on Thursday, 03 October 2024 between 14:00 and 17:00.

Everyone at MND Scotland is deeply saddened to hear that Euan MacDonald, founder of the Euan MacDonald Centre for MND Research, has sadly died. Our deepest condolences are with Euanโs family and friends at this difficult time.
Euan was just 29 years old when he was diagnosed with MND in 2003. Following his diagnosis, Euan and his father, Donald MacDonald CBE, committed to doing whatever they could to ensure MND research was brought to the forefront of everyoneโs mind.
MND Scotland has worked closely with Euan and Donald since the inception of the centre and has funded research projects based there, including the innovative MND-SMART trial, which is the largest-ever clinical MND drug trial in the UK.
We thank Euan for everything he did to support the work of MND Scotland and for his contributions to the MND community through his efforts to raise awareness, improve accessibility for all and help drive our shared vision of world without MND. His legacy will live on through the incredible work he has done.
A message from Professor Siddharthan Chandran, Director of the Euan MacDonald Centre 21 Aug 2024: On behalf of the Euan MacDonald Centre, it is with immense sorrow that I am sharing the sad news that Euan MacDonald died today.
