Studio Pavilion is a contemporary art space based in the gardens of House for an Art Lover House for an Art Lover is constantly growing and developing.
ART PARK Glasgow is part of House for an Art Lover, a building inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s 1901 drawings. More than 115 years later, House for an Art Lover exists to stimulate public interest in art, design and architecture. As part of this developing programme, ART PARK Glasgow was created with its award winning Studio Pavilion opening in 2014 with Kenny Hunter’s exhibition for GENERA

Bernat Klein: Influence & Inspiration is now open at Studio Pavilion, Thursday - Sunday, 11am-3pm
Serbian born designer Bernat Klein emigrated to the UK in the post-war period and based his textile manufacturing business in the Scottish Borders. In a career spanning six decades, Klein found international success in the interrelated spheres of fine art, fashion, textile design, architecture, industrial design, and colour consultancy.
This exhibition showcases new ideas developed by contemporary practitioners, alongside original examples of Klein’s design and artistic practice.
The exhibitions, designed by Graphical House in collaboration with the Bernat Klein Foundation, are curated by Alison Harley with Michael Wolchover and Shona Sinclair.

We have two fantastic printmaking classes running this December!
First up is leading a textile block printing workshop on Saturday 3rd December - a class perfect for anyone who’d like to develop their block printing practice or are trying it for the first time, resulting in your very own hand-printed organic cotton cushion cover.
Then are back with us for a woodcut class on Saturday 10th December, where you will be guided through the ancient craft of woodcut printing! Perfect for beginners or those wishing to take a step up from lino.
Both classes are £60, booking via our website.
We are delighted to share our next exhibition: a show celebrating the 25th birthday of Glasgow Ceramics Studio! 🏺
The exhibition will feature work by members past and present, ranging from functional to sculptural, small to large scale and raku-fired to highly decorated porcelain. All makers are independent artists who hold studio memberships with Glasgow Ceramics Studio and will be in the gallery on rotation throughout to talk about their work and all the wonderful opportunities on offer at the GCS.

Studio Pavilion at House for an Art Lover offers free contemporary art in a public park, presenting a robust and diverse year-round programme of exhibitions, events, residencies, courses and public engagement opportunities that span art, design and architecture.
The Studio Pavilion gallery and neighbouring buildings, which include the art studios, sheds and Heritage Centre sit adjacent to House for an Art Lover next to the walled garden. Entry points include from the staff car park and the walled garden itself.
