Since starting Veeganima we have always said that we will see where the natural progression of the company will take us.

Now we have been offered an amazing opportunity that will take us on a different path, but will elevate the company in the long run, also help Veeganima reach its full potential quicker.
We feel this is the right time to take a step back in order to gain three steps forward.

Sadly this means that for the meantime we will no longer be able to provide food to our customers through our delivery service and
Our social media platforms are going to be a space for sharing great content and fantastic recipes, quick&easy meal ideas, our journey as a vegan family and much more! Stay tuned.

We would like to say a big thank you to all our valued customers new and old for the continued support, kind words and great feedback. Without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible to make it where we are today, you helped us grow by spreading the word with friends and family, please continue to do so.

A massive thank you to Owen and the team at GoGetters for the great service and support getting our product out here in Harlow. You guys are legends.

All we can say for now is keep your eyes and ears peeled, whilst we may be a little quieter for a bit, big things will be happening.✨

Being from Rome this was absolutely one of my favourite dishes before going vegan.

We have now recreated a plant-based version that is creamy, filling and sooo tasty! It really is as good as the real one - I promise!✋

‣First time trying .uk bacon lardons, cooked nicely until very crunchy, they are👌🔥
Mixed with our secret sauce and topped with parmesan and freshly ground black pepper. Simply delicious!

The kids devoured it - in fact, there wasn’t much left on the plate for me and Leon.

These first five days (isolating) have been all about family.
We reunited with my parents, sisters and brothers after one year and the kids are absolutely loving the attention.

We played, napped, had ice cream, listened to music, watched the DLR trains on YouTube (Romi’s current obsession), sat in the balcony to enjoy the sun, but most importantly we ate pasta. Lots of pasta. 🍝🇮🇹

is home working and misses us all very much. I know that.
Romeo is missing Leon very much and I know that because he tells me every night as he lies down.
Bella is missing Leon very much and I know that because she stops every time she hears the front door and says “Papa”.

I’m finding so much joy in the little, most tiny things my kids make me experience.💛

This weekend has been a good test for us as a family. We’re learning more and more how to run Veeganima as we go and trying to find a balance between work and the kids.
These two tiny humans are being so incredibly patient with me and Leon, but if you’re a parent you know already: sometimes it just gets overwhelming.
Yesterday we are in the kitchen packing a few orders, the delivery drivers are outside so we’re under pressure. Bella starts screaming because we closed the stairgate and Romi decided to copy her.
I tried to comfort them with just words but they were having none of it.

The kids are finally in bed, it’s late, I sink into the couch, grab my phone and what am I doing? Scrolling through the pics of Romi and Bella with the biggest smile on my face. I miss them already!

Parenthood is such a roller coaster but I wouldn’t change a thing.

𝕊𝔸𝕐 ℂℍ𝔼𝔼𝔼ℤ𝔼! 😁

Pretty much my face 👆when I found this vegan Camembert in Sainsbury’s.
It’s creamy and the taste is very similar to the real thing, a bit pricey but we got two as a treat. (Big cheeze lover here! 🙋🏻‍♀️🇮🇹)

We cut and deep fried one and, well... it was quickly gone, so unfortunately no pics of that.

The second one was baked with fresh thyme and Rosemary and we served it on a board with some fruit, crudités, crackers and some lovely dried figs made and generously gifted by a friend of ours ✨

Not long ago Leon, the kids and I visited the new near Liverpool St and treated ourselves to some seriously delicious Focaccia al Pomodoro. This instantly took me back home - walking around farmers markets with my mum. I could never forget the smell of the fruit, nor the vibrant colours of the tomatoes and other veg. It feels completely different to buy your fresh local food from the same person who grew it with their hands and this is something I really miss about Rome.💛

That’s why I got so excited when we found a wicked spot displaying ’s products at Eataly.
We got few of them, but I was particularly happy to grab some 💫 - all the way from Puglia, Italy to our kitchen in Harlow, UK. These onions are unique, not only for their flat shape but also the sweet sweet taste. Can you believe they’re grown in the sand, how cool is that.

We are sharing a recipe inspired by my mum’s, which I looove! Added a bit of firm tofu for extra nutrition .. And they turned out great!
So simple, so tasty. Hope you like it like we did!
