Hillarys have introduced some fabulous additions to their range of pleated blinds, including four new Thermashade fabrics, bringing a real touch of ‘on trend’ design and a brand new Duette blind in five beautiful neutral shades.
The honeycomb structure of these blinds help to keep a comfortable temperature, reducing heat loss by 55%, as well as blackout options for light control. We can also make them easy to operate with motorised & smart options.

This week we wanted to continue our look at finishing touches for our fabulous new range of curtain fabrics.
We have recently had some exciting changes to our range of curtain poles, which offer a variety of treatments to show your curtain choices at their very best.
These include metal curtain poles in a range of diameters & finishes, with ball, stud and crystal finials. These can be fitted into bay windows or as a double metal curtain pole, perfect for layering curtains & voiles.
Similarly we have a new range of wooden curtain poles in both painted and wood grain finishes to complement both contemporary and traditional home styling ideas.

Our exciting new range of Hillarys fabrics for curtains and Roman blinds have arrived in the showroom ,with some beautiful new designs and textures, some of which are also part of our current Spring Sale.
We also have new selection of coloured blackout linings, which will complement our range of fabrics to add that extra touch of luxury and style.
There is a choice of linings for Roman blinds, a standard lining that protects your fabric from the sun, as well as an option to have blackout linings for privacy and sleep friendliness – great for bedrooms. You can have interlining, which gives additional padding & offers thermal properties.

Spring has officially arrived and now is the ideal time to look at Hillarys awnings.
You can have the perfect awning in place in time for the summer sunshine and for enjoying your favourite cocktails & outdoor dining, with family & friends. You can also take advantage of our Spring Sale, which offers 10% of selected awnings.
Our awnings come with vibration sensors and motorised controls as standard, along with a great range of additional features, such as heaters and lights to give magical effects for evening entertaining and extending your use of outdoor space into the cooler months. You can also add intelligent sun sensors and a timer to open & close your awning at a time to suit you.

Many of our customers are already fans of our motorised blinds, but we wanted to share a little info for those of you who haven’t met them yet.
They are a really smart solution for large or multiple windows, conservatory roofs and other hard to access windows. They are also an option if customers have difficulties with mobility.
They are battery operated and wirelessly controlled, without having to move an inch, using a remote control, smartphone or voice command, if used with a compatible Smart Home device. You can even control them when you’re not at home, great for home security.
Here in our Harrogate showroom we are able to demonstrate how they work and share information with you, so do pop in.

Valentine’s Day is coming & Love is in the air. Here at Hillarys in Harrogate we are thinking about how to bring a little romance into your home design ideas. Beautiful & romantic shades of pink & blush, including sumptuous velvets and silky woven plains. Alternatively, you can accentuate a sense excitement and passion in your rooms with deeper purple shades and designs.
