✨Teaching Yoga for Mind, Body and Spirit✨
✨Life Activation✨
Change of date for Max Meditation this week!
This week I am moving the Max Meditation class from Tuesday to Wednesday, 6.30pm at Bedhampton Community Centre.
The reason for this is that I will be guiding the SOMA Breath Gratitude meditation at my wife’s yoga classes this week.
With the weather set to be quite warm, my wife Tabitha will be teaching a calming and cooling practice.
The classes will have both Yin and Restorative Yoga.
In a Yin class, you can expect a series of passive floor poses held for up to 5 minutes or more that focus on the deep connective tissues of the body, specifically the fascia.
Restorative Yoga supports your body, allowing it to relax and heal the nervous system.
This will all bring combined with the SOMA Breath meditation.
If you would to attend you can book here https://www.livinginyoga.co.uk/yogaclasses
If you haven’t attended before you get a discount on your first in-person class. The price is only £6.

Here's a yoga class for you to enjoy!
The class focuses on releasing our hamstrings from tension held in the muscle tissue, pulling from the adjusting muscles, such as the adductors and contraction of the tissue from sitting down for prolonged periods.
We’ll use Ujjayi Pranayama (victorious breath) to release tension and open up the energetic channels in our hamstrings.

Many physicists, like the brilliant Bernard Carr, have suggested that a final unified theory of physics will include a description of consciousness. Right now, physics and by extension biology are not able to account for the phenomenon of awareness within material systems, however a theory that sees all things as connected via a unified field may be able to describe how awareness is a part of the cyclical flow of information across the universal network of spacetime and how via universal awareness events cohere into a temporal experience by conscious beings tracing worldlines through spacetime, themselves comprised of those spacetime worldlines, which we can then refer to as space memory, and hence the fabric of consciousness. This field-like nature of consciousness, at the very foundation of the physical world in the quantum vacuum structure—the spacetime quantum information network—where the brain is a receiver and filter of universal awareness as much as it is a generator of experience, can enable a scientific understanding of many types of experiences that would conventionally be referred to as spiritual or metaphysical.

My resolve for this year is, “I am Powerful!”
This in yoga is my Sankalpa. An intention and heartfelt desire that I will be attuning to in the next 360 days.
As you decide what your Sankalpa will be, focus your mind and connect with your heartfelt desire. And then state what your resolve will be from a place of already having accomplished it!
Remind yourself and state your Sankalpa often throughout your day.
What is your Sankalpa for the new year?
Happy New Year!
As we start the year with renewed vigour for our hopes and dreams, let’s remember this one thing.
LETS KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
Which one resonates?
SEVEN REASONS YOU NEED TO BRING BALANCE IN YOUR LIFE
🔶 You have work-related stress or anxiety.
🔶 You cannot remember the last time you engaged in an activity that wasn’t work-related.
🔶 You’re always thinking or talking about work.
🔶 Your loved ones have shown concern about how much you’re working.
🔶 You’re obviously overworking.
🔶 You’re going over your work unnecessarily.
🔶 You cannot switch off from your devices and are constantly scanning for notifications.
Nothing is permanent but change.
Nothing stays still.
Once we realise the impermanence of Life, we can accept what unfolds without resistance.
When we LET GO of our worries, concerns, grievances and labels that weigh us down, especially when there's not much we can do about them, we return to our natural state.
A state where we have the buoyancy to float and flow with the current of life.
When we LET GO of what we’re trying to hold on too, we naturally move in the direction we’re meant to take.
We have to be deliberate and ask ourselves the following questions.
🍀What is it that I REALLY want to achieve in my Life?
🍀Who am I TRULY without the influence of my social and cultural upbringing?
🍀How can I know what I desire to achieve is RIGHT for me?
In this FREE class, they are the questions you get an opportunity to reflect on and answer.
To open yourself up to your authentic and innate nature.
Knowing your TRUTH gives you the means to TRUST yourself and confidently go for your Life dreams and goals.

To understand life is to look at the ways of nature.
And if nature accomplishes everything, all in good time, we too can realise our dreams in the time we're supposed to.
What is arising in your mind right now is not necessarily true. It is most likely conditioning from past experiences or caused by fear and doubt.
Do Not Believe Everything Your Mind Tells You. Self-awareness helps us notice our thinking mind. It allows us to realise the constant thoughts, running around all day.
We quiet the mind by separating ourselves from the thoughts that are arising.
Instead of getting caught up in the thinking, we stop analysing, chasing and attaching to every thought coming up.
We notice the thoughts as they come and go. They do not always define who we are. They are not always our truth.
We can only realise our truth when we stop chasing effort, trying to achieve some state.
We give up all interest in analysing, attaching or chasing the thoughts while remaining fully conscious and alert.
We stop distracting or suppressing the mind.
We stay fully aware of what is arising without the interference of ego conditioning or controlling.
The mind then finds stillness, and we can see beyond the noise of our thoughts where we find our true selves.
Aligning your intention with the timing and flow of the universe…
Tapas means to burn through.
To burn through the reasons we give ourselves not to accomplish our goals in Life.
In yoga, it translates to self discipline and the willingness to consistently show up for our practice.
We all have moments when we’re demotivated to do the things that will serve us better in life.
But tapas reminds us the importance of burning through the fears and turning our excuses into ash and making the necessary changes in our Lives.
It's only through Self Awareness that we can truly know how we're sabotaging our success and keeping ourselves stuck.
Self Awareness: The Most Potent Tool to Manifest Your Dreams Socrates said, know thyself.
How often we forget or get taken up by other “pressing matters.”

Be Grounded and Manifest the Life of Your Dreams Do you find you struggle to root your ideas so you can manifest them into your reality?
How do we navigate the dark night of the Soul?
Through Awareness, Compassion for ourselves and others, and Acceptance of those parts of ourselves we are healing.
You know when a photo pops up on your timeline and you think, “that was a lifetime ago!”
I like to ask myself, “who and where do I want to be in two years,… five years… ten years from now?”
And this question gives me the motivation to start implementing the changes and habits I want to witness in myself and in my life in these timelines
Life was never about making big leaps all at once. Life is made up of nuances.
The little habits we implement everyday add up and eventually mount up to the people we want to be or the success we want to achieve.
Someone said, “it takes ten years to be an overnight success!”
So, who and where do you want to be in the next five years?
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 🧘🏾♀️
I found myself through a Yoga practice…
From the poses that made me aware of my holding patterns. To then building strength and flexibility which created that much needed space within the tissues and muscles giving me a healthy and functional body.
To living my life based on the philosophy of Yoga that teaches me more than any self help book could ever teach.
To the application of breath work to my wellbeing that brings the body back to resonance and improves lung capacity.
To meditation and mindfulness of the practice that not only helps build self awareness but brings the mind to a place of stillness and calm.
And to my Life’s work, because I have found fulfilment teaching this practice to others.
Did I say I found myself through Yoga?
I celebrate Yoga today 🎉
We actually fear changing our bad habits because we’re afraid of what we don’t know.
Even when those habits are squeezing the Life out of us.
The Heart Connection you need to Manifest the Life of your Dreams For the longest time, we have been told that to achieve a successful life, we have to keep a positive mindset. This has been drilled into us in many self-development and self-growth books and courses.
What does success mean to you?
For me, success happens when I feel fulfilled in what I do.
Fulfilment is when our achievements match our core desires and values, especially those that in some way leave positive impact on others.
I am completely fulfilled after holding a two-day yoga retreat in the New Forest.
I cannot thank everyone and everything that came together to make the weekend a fulfilment 😊
Starting with Olive Branch Yoga who wholeheartedly ran the day with me.
Her kind and generous nature left everyone feeling they belonged in the space we had created.
To the and their beautiful gardens and lovely studio that added an extra spark to both days.
To the that made the most delicious plant based lunch.
To for their beautiful flowers.
And to the weather for holding up a beautiful day for everyone.
My heart is full ❤️
I have been sat in the sun practicing our craft activity for our retreat in June- I feel completely relaxed, must be a good sign! 🥰 so looking forward to doing this with Tabitha Ndirangu
