Bringing new life into the world is a very beautiful thing,but it can also take a toll on your body.
As a new mum, it’s important to take care of yourself, including your physical health.
Here are a few tips for postpartum fitness.
1.Take it slow
Your body needs time to heal after childbirth, so be gentle with yourself.
Don’t push yourself to hard too soon.
Start with some walking, gentle yoga or stretching
2.Don’t diet postpartum
Especially if you’re breastfeeding ladies,
Your baby needs those calories, nourish your body with whole foods lots of fruit and vegetables and lean protein.
Breastfeeding will naturally help you lose weight faster, you can burn up to 500 extra calories per day.
It’s also great for the babies health!
3.Build your core
During pregnancy, your abdominal muscles stretch to allow room for the baby. Strengthening core muscle after childbirth will help regain strength and avoid lower back pain.
3.Stay hydrated
Drinking plenty of water will help you recover and maintain your milk supply if you’re breastfeeding.
4.Listen to your body
If it doesn’t feel right, stop.
Pay attention to your body signals and don’t over do it.
