We’re delighted to welcome The Old Wild Rovers on 18th December in aid of Wells RNLI Lifeboat House. Come and join us from 8pm.

We are looking for an experienced Front of House Supervisor who is ‘hands on' and a natural leader. Building a great rapport with your guests and diners we need an individual with a great personality, a supervisor with a positive attitude and someone who is happy to meet and manage guest expectations.

You must be flexible – able to cover a variety of split and straight shifts 5/7 days per week including bank holidays and weekends. 45 Hr Contract.

The Role

• Manage, train and develop younger members of the team, have a good understanding of operational standards
• Run shifts from the front, be a real team player and input and implement new ideas
• Be able to work on the floor and on the bar
• Be responsible for securing the premises and closing the tills down on occasions
• Have exceptional customer service skills, be able to stay calm under pressure and deal with customers in a positive and friendly manner

What do we want?

We are looking for a new General Manager at The White Horse, Blakeney to ensure the smooth running of the pub and optimise its revenue and profit.

You will manage and develop the team, realising their greatest potential and recruiting the best people to delight our customers. You will also have extensive restaurant and or pub management experience, a full understanding of operational standards, processes and systems as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate the team, have a true passion for hospitality and will maintain The White Horse’s reputation of excellence by working in line with our values and caring about them as much as we do.
