Another great day in the studio, but a little sad as it's the last group marbling workshop for this year. We had two very talented architectural conservators this time, brushing up, (pun intended) on their faux marbling skills. I was very impressed with the level of observation and depth of Knowledge on show, well done and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Following the decline in high quality, professional training courses available to trainee and established scenic artists, I have seen a noticeable increase in these skilled and talented crafts men and women, seeking to up-skill and develop their knowledge of the ancient crafts of decorative paint techniques. These endangered heritage crafts, which include, marbling, wood graining and faux stone painting, are rapidly being lost, as traditionally trained paint effects artists are retiring and leaving the work place.
I have been working as a professional paint effects artist for over 35 years and in the last 8 years, I've channeled my efforts, into carefully developing a range of workshops, classes and online tutorials to ensure that anyone seeking access to these highly prized skills, can do so in an accessible, safe and supportive environment.

What a great day we had for the recent Marbling & Furniture Painting Workshop. The sun was shining and the students were in fine form, producing some stunning work. I'd like to thank John and Stephanie for their hard work and for making it a day to remember.
