Temporary Closure

We have been made aware that a member of our team who has not been in close contact with the public has tested positive for COVID19. As a precaution we have decided to close today & tomorrow so that the rest of our team can all have appropriate testing.

We apologise to all of our customers whose bookings have been disrupted.

Rocpool News

After much deliberation we have taken the decision to reduce our days of business to Tuesday to Saturday each week therefore allowing our staff and ourselves to have a more healthy work/life balance.

During this pandemic many will have re-evaluated what they want from life, and we
have been no different. We believe that the industry we are part of can be very demanding both physically and mentally therefore to be able to spend
time away from our working world is even more important.

By doing this we hope to pro-long the life of Rocpool, and allow us to continue to provide the quality of food, wine and service that has come to be expected of us.

As of 6 September 2021 we will now close on Monday’s as well as Sunday’s.

Thank you for all your continued support, Rocpool has never been so busy 🙏 it has been quite humbling for us all.

Following the recent announcement by the Scottish Govt on the time line for lifting of restrictions on the hospitality trade, we are happy to announce it is our intention to re open our doors on Monday the 17th of May.

One note of caution though is that this will only be possible if as expected the Highlands is placed into a lower Tier than the proposed Tier 3 which we will be in from April 26th.

When we do re open some restrictions will still be in place unfortunately. Party sizes are to be limited to 4 people from a maximum of 2 households, children are not included in these numbers though & the restaurant will still have a curfew of 10.30pm. The good news is that alcohol beverages can be served !

We are led to believe that in early June & as we head into the summer months there will be an easing of these restrictions which of course we will update you on.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to Rocpool, it’s been way too long.
