I am seeing a lot of people at the minute for impingement in the shoulders, this can be very uncomfortable and painful, also for some people very restricting. To help ease and prevent this, simple yet very effective dynamic stretching before workouts to help warm up the muscles you will will be training, could be be very effective and prevent injuries.

Stretching muscles after a workout to cool down and rid the trained muscles of any lactic acid and tension build up causing discomfort and tightness, this can also prevent injuries.

You may have seen my red light in some of my stories and posts, and wondered why I use it or what it is for? I could write a whole essay on the science behind it and how red light therapy works with your own body’s natural ability to heal but I’ll be here forever and I for one have bodies to heal 🤗

I get asked alot what it is used for, so here’s ‘a little bit’ about it and what it is used for…………

Infrared light therapy can be used with a lot of my treatments to help promote healing. It helps warm the muscles up in massage treatments to get much deeper into the fibres and compliments any massage treatment nicely. This greatly increases repair and regeneration of the muscle tissues.

SOME BENEFITS INCLUDE ~

📍 Relieves stress, anxiety and muscle tension.

📍 Increases lymphatic flow and blood circulation.

📍 Activates body’s own natural healing abilities to reduce pain and inflammation.

📍 It increases lymphatic drainage, which increases the activity of white cells so they clean up debris faster and it has an amazing effect on nerves. It causes nerve fibers that are pain fibers to calm down and not cause so much pain.
