We have had a lovely week settling back in, building new friendships, exploring and learning! Have a lovely weekend 💙

This week we have welcomed Alex to the staff team 💙 Alex is a level 3 Early Years practitioner and will be based in our playschool area. Alex has a wealth of experience in early years & also qualifications in dance and drama which we are looking forward to doing lots of 💙

We have had a brilliant 🤩 first day back 💙 The children have all been superstars & we have enjoyed getting to know each other & exploring our new environment 🤗

Not long to long…. ⏳ We re open a week today!! 🥳🥳 The first chapter of our new adventures 🌳🎨🧱🛝🎾🥘🔥🛠️✏️🪆🎈🎶

Reminders -
⭐️ Ratby School Transition days are on Weds & Thursday
⭐️ Wednesday afternoon all playschool children who will be moving up to our preschool area are invited in with parents to stay & play and talk to the staff
⭐️ Thursday we are CLOSED as the hall is used for voting day
⭐️ Friday 1-2.45pm preschool leavers party 🎉

What’s fabulous couple of weeks in our setting 💙 from sports days, to harvesting our vegetables, gymnastics, the euros, ice painting, magic potions, water fights, bear hunts, music, dance classes, the evil pea, baking, daisy picking, sandy toes and so much more 💙

Preschool Bootcamp with Clare’s Fitness for PE today! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️The children are doing really well getting themselves changed into their kits independently before PE starts 😊

What a busy week of learning through play 💙 Stories in the woods 🌳 Football lesson for PE ⚽️ Making our own soup 🥣 Annie came to visit us 🐾 Gruffalo & learning new songs 🎵 Yoga 🧘‍♂️ Visiting the chicken 🐓 and ducks 🦆 Construction 🧱 Mark making ✏️ and meeting lots of new friends that will be joining us after the summer ☀️

Super proud to share that we have been rated as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted on our 1st full Early Years Inspection 🥳🥳🥳

Preschool leavers 2024 save the date! 🎉 💙

This week the playschool children have been learning about healthy eating, visiting the dentist, trips to the library and D Day celebrations 💙 In Preschool the children have kicked off with 30 days wild 🌳🐞 Bark rubbing, cloud watching, sea shell wind chimes, nature trails and planting 💙

We reopen tomorrow for the last 5 weeks of this academic year! ☀️ It’s the final chapter for our eldest preschool children and we intend to make it the best one yet 💙💙💙🦋
