My name is Macy Warne and I’m 17 years of age and run my own business called MBM
(MAKEUP BY MACY).
I like to create bold eye catching looks that will make you go “wow”, i would say one of my strengths is to do my makeup as not every girl can do but still try. I can perform artistic makeup looks that will help you gain interest in makeup and could hopefully inspire you to run your own business one day.
Target audience: My targeted audience for my business is ages 15+ because feel like anyone can achieve what I have and either can self teach themselves or attend makeup collage, courses etc. This will benefit my business because the younger the age group the more well known you will be as social media nowadays is very important to young adults, it then gives my business a good chance of advertising my products and company to get to where I want to be in the business world.

Why should you be aware when mentioned on scoial media?
Its important to be aware when mentioned on social media as it could affect my business, for example copy right somone could be using my logo or any peice of information about my company and use as there own. Hackers, could easily try and hack into my company social media and take any classified information and share it; also bad comments if there is any unexceptable or innapropriate comments we will be able to detect them and deal with them almost instantly. Every business should be aware of the legal risks and have an up to date social media policy that clearly outlines the rules around the use of social networking sites such as facebook, twitter and instagram.
This is a rapidly changing area and so its important that any policy or document is viewed and updated reguarly the policy can be included in a employee handbook or as a stand alone policy document but it is vital that employees are aware of its content.
If an customer decides to put a bad comment on the companys website it may effect the business if not dealt with properly and thats what the employees should understand and learn to deal with so the business isnt at risk. Lana Clarke
