I really love this macramoon, she is currently holding space in my spare room that doubles as a gym, craft room and general dumping ground.
I’m really trying to make movement a priority again as I’ve become so lazy recently and I know how much better I feel when I take time on my mat. I find by prioritising a space for my mat, with a candle nearby and some soft lighting (and the heating on) helps me to prioritise the time too. Having this macramoon at the top of my mat draws my focus and helps me find my centre. It also acts as a beautiful drishti point when working on balancing postures.

I love working with lots of different colour and texture but this week I challenged myself to complete a wall hanging in a single colour palette!
I’ve not used 3ply rope for a wall hanging before but I love the texture of it especially on those roses!! This is the bamboo rope in wild rose from also used the always gorgeous bamboo string for super soft and shimmering fringe. 9mm cotton cord for the mini tassels from and sari silk from

I’m loving weaving at the moment, the playfulness of it really calls to me! I think I’ve definitely caught the weaver fever! Back working on a new macrame project this evening! Do you prefer macrame or weaving or do you love both?

I love this colour combo so much, I had to make this beach babe basking in the golden sun combing her long golden hair!

She’s called Lovina after one of my fave little beach towns in Bali.

Summer is definitely my favourite season and I’m loving making these summery pieces at the moment to brighten up these long grey days!
