Running a food business has its days let me tell you. But it’s also one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. The smile on people’s faces when you make a dish for them, when they keep coming back for more, the team you create who then stick with you through the good and the really bad, the help and support from others in the industry who give you endless business advice.

The women I have met during this journey are some of the strongest and most resilient I have ever come across. We lift each other up, we hold each other to account, we give when we’ve got nothing to gain from it and we drop everything to help each other out. We clean each other’s fryers out at festivals and run a service like were on our 5th coffee of the day. To all of the women I know in this biz you are all sensational. 💙
