This week, I have an announcement to share. Life has presented us with a new adventure: relocation to another country for the next couple of years.

As a result, this will be the final menu for the next two weeks. Following this period, we'll need to focus on preparing for our move.

People have been asking me why / how I came to choose "Vida" as a name for my business...

6 years ago, today, "Vida Movahed" stood on a power box symbolically with her white head scarf on a stick to show her opposition to mandatory Hijab for Iranian women. She was later arrested by the police and sentenced to jail for her action.

Her brave, peaceful, and inspirational act encouraged many other Iranian women and men to fight against compulsory Hijab.

My utmost respect and admiration for her bravery inspired me to name this catering after her.
