A premium Korean meal box now delivering within Sydney. Kind of like an at-home delivery box, except

Kimchi day. 🌪️
🍅Summer Salad🍑
250-300g ripe tomatoes at room temp (I’ve used cherry here)
1 large ripe white peach (chunky slices)
2 tbsp Chardonnay vinegar (can be replaced with sherry, white wine or apple cider)
Dill (can be replaced with basil)
Handful of roasted pine nuts
Salt, pepper, pinch of sugar, 1/2 clove grated garlic (optional)
Gently crush (with a small rolling pin or with a back of a spoon) ripe tomatoes in a bowl. Season with saltand pepper, grated garlic, a good splash of Chardonnay vinegar and olive oil, mix well and let it macerate (leave it aside for min 15 min to release and intensify tomato juice and flavour).
Toast a handful of pine nuts in a small frying pan until golden brown.
Pick some dill and roughly chop.
Assemble: add peach slices, toasted pine nuts and dill into the macerated tomatoes, toss well (taste for seasoning) then serve. Crusty bread is a must to soak up all the delicious juices!
BIBIMBAP SPREAD 🥣 A scoop of purple rice top with sesame carrots and mushrooms, lightly pickled cucumber and spicy moo with a big dollop of toasted Gochujang paste@and sesame oil. Garnish with crispy gim and spinach powder to finish 🌈.

I was inspired by my recent trip to GwangJang market and seeing an array of colourful and freshly prepped Bibimbap 🌈.

DIY OPEN SANDWICH 🥪 thin slices of grainy sourdough toasted with butter on a frying pan, seasoned plum Roma tomatoes with Chardonnay vinegar, salt & pepper, spoonful of fresh Ricotta seasoned with salt & pepper and drizzle of EVO.
Assemble your open sandwich with a generous spread of ricotta followed by tomato slices and that paper thin piece of Mortadella from your local deli.

WHAT A WEEK. Absolutely exhausted but happy first Sujin Box orders were out the door this morning in Sydney! Forgot how hard it’s to pull these boxes together (especially the first one off the block!), hopefully it’s well received.🤞
Not all Korean foods including Kimchi are red hot spicy. It’s all about the balance. For every fiery Gochujang stir-fry, there’s a bowl of clean and refreshing white radish Kimchi like this on the table to cool you down. I’ve used beautiful produce to make this version, added some red radish for this shade of pink 💗. Now we wait… #동치미
