There are many ways you can find solace in the grief you are experiencing. Accessing support allows you to connect with others and gives you a safe space to talk about your grief. It may be difficult to seek out help at first, but it is vital to remember that you are not alone in what you are experiencing, and that help is out there.💙
---
Understanding the difference between kinds of grief can help with the healing process. It can help understand the reasoning behind why you are experiencing these feelings, helping acknowledge that these feelings are normal. Also, when you know the types of grief you are experiencing, you can seek out specialist support where you may find comfort talking to others who are going through the same.🫂

Happy International Volunteer Day! Today we say thank you to all the volunteers around the world for all your generosity and dedication. The effort and time you give to your cause helps makes the world a better, safer place. We hope today you take time to reflect upon your achievements and the impact you have made to create positive change.🥰
National Grief Awareness Week aims to provide comfort to individuals who are grieving, raising awareness about grief, and allowing a clearer outlook on the grief process. The objective is to take in consideration that grief is a universal experience and is a natural response to loss.
There is no right or wrong way to grieve. However, seeking support and talking to someone about grief can be beneficial in processing emotions and finding comfort in challenging times. Connecting with friends, family, or support groups can provide a safe space to share feelings and memories, offering relief from the distress of grief.💙

Unfortunately, we are transitioning to darker mornings and nights and this also means people's moods can and will be affected.
SAD is very real and affects 1 in 5 of us.
It is perfectly okay to take a SAD day from work if it becomes too overwhelming.

🔊 Symptoms and Warning Signs of High Functioning Depression 🔊
People with high functioning depression may appear to the outside world to be content, successful, hardworking, and to be having a totally "normal" existence. They can function successfully at work or school, interact with people normally, and manage their responsibilities, all whilst having thoughts of suicidal ideation, feelings of depression and general despair.
Due to increased risk of su***de associated with all depressive disorders, it is important to recognise the signs and symptoms. These are just some of the symptoms and warning signs of High Functioning Depression.
If you, your friends or loved ones are experiencing any of these symptoms please speak to someone, whether that be a friend, a family member, or your GP. There are ways to help alleviate these symptoms and for you to take back control over your thoughts and feelings. You can take back your mind 💙
